Okay, so I called the number and I still can't understand what the woman is saying the name of the company is even after asking her to repeat it twice. She said they are an advertising agency that helps local businesses get listed at the top of search engines such as Google. I asked to be placed on the do not call list and she asked me for my number. I gave it to her and then she asked me what number of theirs had called us. I told her, but now that makes me think there must be some loophole stating that they can't contact me from THAT phone number but they probably have other numbers they CAN call from. Ugh. Very frustrating. They are wasting their time and mine because I would NEVER buy any service from them.

We have been getting calls from this number for several months, they call at least twice per week, never talk, but tie up my phone line for 30-60 seconds. I have called twice and spoken to "Chloe" who answers the phone as"customer service". I called again today and lost my mind, I went off screaming at her for about 3 minutes, I do feel better.

    telemarketers suck
Calls all the time & hangs up. These people need to get a life rather than wasting money calling places across the country just to hang up on people.

I am a one-man shop and have my business calls forwarded to my cell.  With this arrangement, I cannot tell if they called my office (and it was forwarded) or called my cell (both on DNC lis). However, if I get more than 2 calls from an unknown 800# or anywhere I do know anyone, I simply save it to a bogus contact name (i.e. Z.z.z.) and set the ring tone to silent.  I can save 5 numbers per contact name this way and use this method a lot.  This saves me from running for the phone for calls I know are bogus.

To my knowledge, toll free numbers are quite expensive to offer.  I say everyone with a multiple line phone, call this number back, put them on hold.  Use as many of your outgoing lines as you can afford to tie up, and then go home for the day.  I only have 3 lines so 2 of mine have been on hold with them for an hour now.  Hope they feel it.  I am very exhausted trying to get them to stop calling me.

I have asked them to take me off their call list. They said they would but they continue to call. I filed a report with Do Not Call, which will do no good, but at least they've been reported again.

Now I just call back and play Christmas music over the line until they hang up.

Beau, they were very nice both times I asked to be removed also, but they keep calling. Called my office phone in my home twice today. I've had enough. I'm now resorting to their games.

} "she kept repeating her name (Selena Gomez)"

Scammers calling from outside the US often adopt names of American celebrities, government officials, and fictional characters for an alias. The more famous Selena Gomez is of course one of the vat-grown teenagers Disney has put to work playing in dopey sitcoms and selling music downloads.
