This number called me on Saturday, 1-4-12 at 7:45 am. I was on my way to work and didnt anwser it. No voice mail was left on my phone either. And I didnt bother to call it back. Probally a Trash call.

Toll-free number. Caller ID says "unavailable".

WARNING: Web search shows this number is a genuine Barclaycard phone #. But since no one at my number has a Barclay's credit card that means the call probably didn't originate from 877-408-8866 but is in fact coming from somewhere else with a spoofed Caller ID #. In other words it's a scammer to try to trick people into believing it's Barclacard.

If you get a call from this number – even if you do have a Barclay's account of some kind – DO NOT TRUST IT. Hang up and call the number on the back of your credit card.

It is Barclaycard Credit card. CCredit Card activation number.

I got a call from this number on 3/5/15.  It was a man claiming to be a lawyer out of New York and he wanted to let me know he got a settlement on a scam investment I'd lost money on 4 years ago. That was the message he left on my phone, anyway.  I have not called back and don't intend to.  It's a rip off number...

This is a somewhat longtime activation number for Barclaycard Credit Cards.  If someone calls you and requests information from 877-408-8866 then you should probably contact Barclay Card US fraud department 1-866-928-8598.

I don’t have a Barclay account or card why would they be calling me unless it’s a Legitimate Scammer
