This number came in an email supposedly from Norton Security saying that my account was being charged $570.99 for an annual security plan.  It said to call this number if I did not want to continue the service.  Repeated calls to the number resulted in no answer and call being terminated from that end.  19 days later a call was answered by a person (English not his first language)  who took me through a number of steps to removed the service from my computer and then sent me to another number (218-309-1062) - the billing office - for a refund.  They said the refund would come to my bank account but no withdrawal had ever been made from my account and any NortonLifeLock service had been paid for with a credit card.  They insisted I give them my bank account information so they could make the refund.  I did not and ended the conversation.

The phone number 877-414-0011 was included in a spam email about being charged for Webroot services.  The email address used for the message is not a legitimate email address for webroot.  I did not call the number but wanted to make others aware of the scam.

I received the same kind of email today for billing me for Webroot going to charge me for 5 years anti virus for $495.99.  Was from a Mark Smith.  I have never had this service.  Yes I agree this is a SCAM.
