someone called from this number and asked me to confirm my identity with my last four. i declined and hung up. no idea who this is

Mandarich Law Group: looking to collect old cc debt written off years ago.

i started getting calls from this number last month, finally i called back to see what it is. they are  looking to collect old debt. they harrass and threaten to sue you. i offered to pay a monthly payment but they didn't want to accept it. they said that i should pay upfront or they will sue me and that they are also ready to sue all those people they called last december 2010. i called and filed a complaint to the federal trade commission. these type of business' buys old debt for about $200 or less and try to make money off people by threatening them.

did you ever get sued?

I am being sued by th Mandarich Law Group. I just sent them a letter with an offer to settle. I will let you know what they agree too, otherwise I am prepared to go all the way to court. If you don't respond by 30 days after being served papers they win by defult. I will keep posting.

I've been dealing with the law group for a few weeks now. We had a settlement with them, and because of an error our bank made, they claim the settlement is null and void and are demanding the full amount owed on our card, and they have been threatening to garnish my husband's wages. This happens to be illegal because not only can they not make these types of threats, but my husband is in the military and you cannot garnish a service member's pay! On the same day I dealt with these threats, the bank error was corrected and they got the rest of the settlement! Yet they still continue to call and threaten me. At this point, I've told them that either our business is done, or they committed a crime by withdrawing our money, because it was only authorized in the transaction of our settlement! I've also filed complaints with the BBB and FTC. They are obviously willing to lie and break numerous laws in order to get any kind of money from you, so don't let them threaten or intimidate you!

hi I was just checking about the  madarich law group did they sue you?
I got a letter from them but I just want to make sure if they ready sue or jus want to be scared

IF These clowns cant prove that you owe them, ....... don't agree to, or admit any debt!

Take them to court....They lose every time!

These clowns started a collection agency recently, ignore them and challenge any legal proceedings..

I wouldn't retain * Mandarich law group to pick up dog crap in my yard...

I am talking with a reporter that is doing a story on sleazy collection agencies, I will win my case for sure,  then I am going to be interviewed so as to help other people protect themselves from bottom feeders like these.


I am going  to embarrass embarrass this firm big time!

Lisa at Mandrich law group keeps calling. She has left messages for over a year now. If they were serious about anything they would have sued by now.

I just got sue by this company. I did not file an answer to
the summon nor did I requested a DV. Which I had found this site sooner.
What's my recourse now? If any. They refuse to accept a settlement from my spouse. And she was told by Lisa that a lien will be place on our property.

What's the update on your case, I have decided to file for chapter 7 bankruptcy since I'm not working this could be best time for me to do it.

They are now calling with unknown numbers...

Mandarich calls my house every day asking for me by the wrong name.  They will not give me any information unless I give them the last four digits of my social security number which I would never do.

Mandarich has not sent written notice of the amount of debt or the name of the Creditor within 5 days of the initial communication with a consumer, as required by law.  Mandarich should follow the FDCPA legislation and not try to collect on whatever debt they say I owe until Mandarich mails verification of debt to me.

My credit report was just run a month ago and I had perfect credit with no bad debt reported to the credit agencies.

I've filed a complaint with the BBB and also gave them a negative review.
I'm also retaining counsel. They are not supposed to call me anymore if I'm represented by counsel, but I doubt they pay attention to little things like laws anyways...

Has anyone had any luck ? They just sent me a summons yesterday. Anyone have any tips on what exactly I should do?
