called my office number.. looking for Enoch Teckris..explained it was a business phone that they dialed.. she asked if we were ever Enoch Teckris.. said no.. got uummmppphh as response

Credit union debt collector, named Madeline Johnson who chews while leaving her voicemails. When you talk to her and tell her she has the wrong number she doesn't seem to understand the words you're saying.

Called family member more than once , not wanting to leave her company name. Family member isn’t on any debt collection account.

Madeline Johnson 877-415-8222 persist in calling around to family members when trying to collect debts. This is illegal especially when those numbers were not approved as contact numbers for account In question.

Actually is isn't.  If this were a third party debt collector it would be allowed with limits.  Since this is an original creditor there are no laws in 45 states that regulate their collection activities.

Funny,  the post above didn’t  identify  Madeline Johnson as an “original creditor “.  What is BAD business is calling individuals not listed on an account and whose information was not provided as contacts for reaching account holder. Contacting those (non account holder individuals at work crosses a line. Whether you believe the act to be fine- it isn’t. BBB will absolutely receive complaints!
