This number charged my card

These people did a Cash withdraw for $402.00 on my bank card. Listed as a cash wire. They had my name and card number. Fraud protection notified me.

This square app should be illegal.  People use it all the time to scam and steal from others.   Got me for $500.  All I can say is they lucky they live across the country.

Nothing wrong with the Square app.  How do you know they were "across the country"?  No doubt they were across the globe.  People have their cards compromised everyday and it isn't simply because of Square.  When I was in business I used them and had no problems.  Unlike First Data.

This number is taking money out of my checking account by the name jalyssa comer.

I checked mine out and it was cashapp

I agree!! I found the exact same comments from these three individuals on another site. It's a scam and they charged my account $499.00 and $500!!! not transactions I would forget, that would be ridiculous even for people who have the extra money to forget such expenses.  I hope someone puts a stop to this! luckily my bank has fraud protection but that doesn't change the fact that these scammers are taking our money, their time will come.

My landscaper in Texas used the company squareup to charge me for services. So I guess it’s like saying PayPal or Venmo.

I couldn’t remember what the $255 charge was for either!

this number just pulled money out of my checking account using the Cash App. I am so pissed off! Who the hell are these people and give me my money back!

Well, I guess that will teach you to download a strange app and give it your banking information.

Had 15 bogus charges today from cash app on my credit card totalling $145. Deactivated my card immediately, bank security called hours later asking me if they were legit. Being sunday, I have to wait till tomorrow to go to bank to dispute and get my money back.

This messages are crap, please make sure you call your bank ASAP, the first small amount you see is the sign that they will keep trying with larger amounts.  They started with 1 dlls, then 5 dll, then $500 and then $500

That person clearly posted here 9 years ago.  Do you really think that they will stop back after all that time?

It happened to me, too. I don't have the app. I never used it. You don't have to have the app to get your money stolen this way.

This number showed up on my bank statement along with "Pre-Authorization Debit at Cash App" a few times in one day along with a couple of different names. Clearly testing out if they could take money. They did. I was able to call my bank and dispute it, luckily finding it within 24 hours. I have never used the Cash App or given any information over the phone or in writing to anyone that could use it. (Unless some legitimate businesses are employing not very legitimate employees...) Anyway, good reminder to always have alerts set up from your bank, there was a flag for suspicious activity the first time they tried it (which I didn't see until later) and somehow the next two attempts managed to get through and take the money. Like I said, luckily the dispute was approved.

found this number on my account and noticed that the bank had also nitices this. says pmnt sent reversal  and checkcard reversal, pymnt sent cash, checkcard cash. always check your account. id like to get ahold of these idiots.

They charged my card $20 two different times and I have no idea why!?! Or who they are!
