SouthShoreAsset.com  This # belongs to the SSA Group which claims to be a legal office that is collecting debts. They try to scare you & threaten you by saying they are placing your account for legal actions & even say they are coming to your home/work to serve a summons. I've been dealing with this company for over a year now & it's complete BS! They are always calling my grandparnets & harrassing them also in reguards to "our account". They have also contacted me using the Ph# 877-547-0343. They are breaking so many laws in their way of collecting. If you are having this happen to you, go to www.ftc.gov & do your research as I did. Report them as I did & maybe we will be able to shut this place down!!!

ALLISON SMITH SHE CALLS HER SELF. SHE WILL VIOLATE THE FTC RULES . SHE TOLD A CO WORKER WHO TOOK A MESSAGE FOR ME. SHE DISCLOSED THAT SHE IS A PROCESSOR. NOT! SHE SAID THEY HAVE A SUMMONS FOR FRAUD FOR MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT. STATED THAT I CAN SETTLE THIS. HMMM LET ME THINK HERE. NO SUMMONS DEPT CALLS PEOPLE AHEAD OF TIME. NO AGENCY HAS THE RIGHT BY LAW TO DISCLOSE SUCH DETAILED INFO TO ANOTHER PERSON EXCEPT WHOM THEY HAVE TO SPEAK TO IN DIRECT. NUMBER IS 877- 418-0345 THE CALLER ID WILL SAY "UNKNOWN"  THIS CO. DOES NOT CARE WHO OR WHAT THEY SAY. I HAVE TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SPEAK TO ANYONE AND IF YOU DO ONCE YOU TELL THEM NOT TO CONTACT YOU THEY MUST HONOR THIS. IF NOT IT IS ANOTHER VIOLATION OF THE FTC.

I reported them also, they love to threaten with summons.  Teresa Bailey is whom I spoke with and she will become upset when questioned about the organization.

I awoke on October 21st to a phone call from my mother. My mother stated that my brother in another city had received a call along with my parents stating that the SSA group (South Shore Associates Group) claiming to be a process server, was trying to serve me court documents. Being an attorney, finding me is not that difficult. Why a skip trace? Anyway, I called with the "court case " number they had given family members and got a nasty woman who says I had to give her my bank routing number and account number to pay a debt that was not there's or mine before they would even identify who they were. I asked if they were a colection agency. They stated "no." They then stated they were a "recovery service and NOT a collection agency. Well according to records on file they ARE. They are not following the "Fair Debt Collections Practices Act" and properly identifying themselves as well as letting anyone they are calling know that "any and all information given will be used for the collection of a debt" as required by law. All of this in the guise that they are a "recovery service." I had my paralegal investigate and quickly received all information on this company. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office in New York and Texas. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of New York. The SSA Group is in violation of federal law and also can be sued in civil court for damages. If anyone else has this experience make a complaint immediately. Fire back and do not be intimidated by this illegal outfit. File all complaints immediately with the BBA and the Attorney General's office in your state and New York where they reside out of. Send a Cease and Desist order to SSA as well and send it certified. You can hire an attorney to write this letter for as little as $100 dollars. Funny thing is you have to remember that the person on the other end of the phone has a high school education as well as probably having worse credit then the people they are calling. I gave this outfit my bar number and was told I was not an attorney by the rep! Well I guess they found out. LOL Dont put up with their BS! Again, they came after the wrong guy today who was NOT the guy they were actually seeking. Be pro-active and report these law breakers!

I received a phone call and because at the time i was in the military and they couldn't tell me what the problem was. I went ahead and paid the company. The letter that they sent had a different company name CTS, with the same address PO BOX 1028, Hamburg, NY 14075. Then today I receive another phone call from Darren & Thompson and Associates threatening me from 1-866-514-4583 about the exact same debt. That know one seems to be able to still not give me the information on. Then they are threatening me to go to court, and it's in a county I haven't lived in for over 4 years.

I got a call on November 15th from a very pushy guy at my job. My coworker took the call to see what was going on and he told her that I was being sued and he was a server who had just gone by my parents house, he never did, and was 40 mins away from coming to my work to serve me. My coworker told him he could not come and he would not be able to see me and he told her the only way to get him to not come was by calling a number, 866-384-9239, with my "claim" number RG 141 803-0711. Well I called the company which was CTS on the menu and pressed zero to get someone and they transferred me to some young guy. He told me a loan place had sent him my debt because it was not paid and they they were suing me for fraud and breach of contract. He told me I could settle this with them without getting the courts involved if I set something up, I of course did because, yes I did owe the loan from 2011 and I was panicked and at work. I then decided to call the loan place and ask them where my debt was sent to, they said they sent it to a company called United Debt Holding who has no affiliation with CTS, which now they phone says Client Trace Services. Both numbers I have for this company go to Client Trace Services but I do not know how they got my information when my debt is through another company. I have reported them and put a stop on my card.

I had a the same thing happen to me this morning as Jess...I am wondering if I was totally scammed. The guy who called said he was a process server for the State of Oregon, call this number...I was so upset by the calls that I can't find any of the telephone numbers the guy gave me. Was I just totally ripped off?

Yes!!!! Call your bank or credit card company now and take care of it.

I paíd them year ago and my balance never been updated
