    Scam call pretending to be from CIBC fraud alert for a CIBC debit card that supposedly charged hundreds at a store. Joke’s on them as I don’t even have a CIBC debit card!

    They send out thousands of calls and text messages knowing that not everyone deals with that bank.  They are simply looking for people who do have that card and are not smart enough to call the number on the back of the card or go online to check their account.

    Got a call from this number claiming to be CIBC and charged xx amount and so my card was blocked so I have to call them.
