This is some department of Bank of America... our home is going into foreclosure and they were calling to "confirm our eligibility" for a modification program (that we had not applied for).  We've received a couple calls from this number before, today is the first time they left a voicemail.  Not sure how they got my cell number.

Keep getting calls from this number asking for another person.  I asked, "who are you?"  to which she replied, "I can't tell you if you aren't _____."  Well, stop calling my number that person is NOT here, has never been here & I don't know this person I said.  Very annoying.  I picked up the phone this time to see who was calling as caller id has "toll free number" on the display.

This is NOT a dep't of BOA. It is a third caller solicitor who has claims that they are calling on behalf of the bank.

I got two call and two voicemail. Some guy name, Tim or whoever it is, he asked about someone name and that name is defiantly not mine. Same person called two time and left two voicemail, which is same. Something about inconvenience. What should I do? It really give me some stress.
Also he talked too fast.

They claim to call on behalf of BoA, but I don't think so. I don't know how they got really personal information about your mortgage it seems like BoA release to third partys your mortgage situations. BE CAREFUL!!

Received a call from this number... it was AMS Loan Servicing who is legit 3rd party loan 'servicer' for some BOA mortgages.  They currently 'service' my BOA mortgage.  Just because your mortgage is 'branded' BOA, doesn't mean they actually 'own' it and manage it.

As always, be careful not to provide solicited info when THEY initiate the call.  Caller was polite and friendly and was fine with me calling him back via a confirmed BOA number and continuing the discussion.

All said and done, it was a legit call.  FWIW...

BofA is a bunch of idiots-I am closing on my short sale next week, documents all done and approved. And this AMS called-The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing.

"Brian" said he were calling "on behalf of BofA."  When he asked me to verify the property address, I asked him to tell me what information they had.  He told me they couldn't continue until I verified.  I told him since this was not a BofA number I recognized, I would not give out any information until I verified who they were.  I asked for a number to call them back.  He gave me a number for BofA - 866-880-1232.  When I asked whether BofA needed me to call them, he  said I could call them if I wanted.  He kept repeating the same 3 or 4 responses, depending on what I said, and I started to suspect this was a voice activated computerized response as opposed to a real person.  He never stated what company he was from only that he was calling on behalf of BofA.  Our loan received a permanent modification in November, 2013.

I keep getting calls  from 1-877-418-4954 they leave a message that they are Seneca mortgage servicing and that they are calling on behalf of Bank of America. When I call the number back, I get a recording that says to leave a message, which I don't. It is very impersonable to have to leave a message, asking them to call you back. Obviously they don't want you to grill them as to who they are or what they want. I don't have the time to play phone tag. If they want me to call them back then they need to leave a message in what it is in regards to and answer the phone when I call them to find out what they want.
