Called my company Blackberry.  Not sure how they got the #...  Sounded like the typical telemarketer (delay then, "Hello Mr...")

Balleys Total Fitness, trying to reactivate my membership.  Great deal, 9.00 per month.

Got a call from 877-418-7263, on my cell phone.  When I called the number back from another phone, it was a recording for Balley's Total Fitness.

Just got a call form this number.  I have to agree with the Bally's posters.  I used to belong there and they have been trying to get me to come back for quite some time now.

They told me $9/month, forever, no cancellation fee. But, my local Bally's knows nothing about it, and sees no renewal for me in the system. Bally's member services doesn't know this phone number, and the club told me I'd been scammed. WTF?

It's Bally's. I got the e-mail which I ignored for the $9 deal. Then the phone calls. The Bally recruiting guys at the gym aren't please because they get no commission.

To make a long story short. I ended up paying $90.00 for 16 months access to any gym anytime. Not bad considering I was paying $20.00 per month for 1 gym tue, thur, sun only.

877 418-7263 is Bally Total Fitness. I called them back and that's how they answered. It IS a telemarketing ploy.

i actually got a letter in the mail, offering me $9/month, but since i registered with my cousin it went to her house. she just told me about it and i called 1-888-887-0420. it was a bally representitive who also offered me that deal and said i could pay $9 or pay $90 for a year. i gave them my credit information and my e-mail and he said i would get a confirmation letter to take to my ballys and renew my membership. i haven't received an e-mail, and i'm worried that i just gave my information to some stranger.

I am on the "Do Not Call List," yet they call anyway.  How do I stop them?

They called me at 6:08 am only to hang up right when I answered. Not cool.

they called me too offering 2 months free and $9 a month after that with no contract. I was kind of sceptical and told them I would think about it. Is this deal for real?? Is this number really ballys? I was scared too give my checking account info.

I have now gotten a call from this number 2 times in the last few days and it is really making me mad.

It is supposedly Bally's, but I'm starting to think it is a scam. They offered me 14 months for $90, no contract, and if I want to continue the membership after 14 months it would be $9/mo. It sounds good, but they have been calling me everyday at least 2-3 times per day on my cell phone. Has anyone ever accepted their offer with success?

I've gotten 2 calls but it's always while I'm at work. I never belonged to a Bally's and I'm on the Do Not Call list. Hopefully I never answer their call.

hmmm 4/14 4:04pm, 4/11 8:30am, 4/10 7:21pm, 4/09 3:35pm, 3/22 5:14pm.  Doesn't look like they are giving up.....  I have yet to answer one of their calls.  I received e-mails about the whole Bally's $9/mo and renewal info, and now I suppose they are calling me.  I am a former Bally's member, I considered going back...but if this is really how they go about it...I'm out!
