I am getting sick and tired of calls form these ignorant low life people - a guy called from 1-877-394-5817 and claimed to be Mr Franks and said he is suppossed to come to my house and serve me woth papers but he is too busy so as a courtesy I need to call him immediately and settle this matter. First of all, this is total BS - this ignorant person doesn't even have my address he tried to get me to "verify" my information so I told him to tell me what address he has AND IT IS NOT EVEN MY ADDRESS - I said no that is not my address I own a home no where near the address he has so he called me a thief and said I need to just pay the amount he asked for - I said no you need to prove I owe you anything because it is not me. This is the same voice that called today from 1-877-418-8231 but now he is Calvin Nelson and said he just received a fax on his desk to come to my house or my job and "serve" me with legal papers for writing fraudulent checks but he will not have time today so as a courtesy I should call and make payment arrangements. These same people have called from 1-877-440-6822 and 888-390-4260 and claimed that it was about a payday loan (I have never taken out any payday loans). These people have called people I haven't seen in 20 years and left horrible messages saying that I am writing bad checks and asking people for my social security number.

I received a call regarding my Mom. The guy said he was a process server and needed my mom's address. I told him I did not know this person and to not call again. He then calls my Dad to find my moms information (they have been divorced for 20 years). The guy had same story my Dad played along and wanted his information. He gave a case # that is not from Colorado, he said it was an Arizona case. The guy gave the1-877-418-8231 number to call. I looked the # up on line and was led to this site (800notes.com) where I have found that it is all a scam. I will be posting this on as many sites as possible.

The number is associated with a company called the Titan Group. They are a collection agency.  They collect for ACE Cash Express or some other cash advance place.  They have this "fraud dept." that calls, saying exactly what was stated above.  They, essentially, scare people into paying them money for collections by using illegal collection tactics under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

If they call you contact a lawyer because they, most likely, are violating your rights.

I received a call from this place two days ago and the guy says that his name is Mr. G Lavasio from Titan.  He is trying to get me to pay him money for a payday loan.  The number that he is calling from is 877-308-9576.  I called all of the numbers above and the same exact message comes up saying "You have reached Titan".  It is such a shame that people would stoop so low as to get money.  Don't pay these people a dime of your money as it is such a scam.

I received a call from a blocked number saying they were a process server that was coming to my house in an hour to serve me with papers for fraudulent checks and attempting to defraud a finical institution. I asked the lady calling if the "summons" was for criminal court or for civil. after some reluctance she admitted that is was civil. them she said i could avoid this if i just call this number 877-308-9576 and make arrangements. This is another number for Titan. I asked for proof that I owe the debt and was told the summons would be put off for 24 hours until they could verify the information. I was also told it was for a payday loan from ACE cash express.

i have also been called by these people with the same stories about legal repercussions about an old loan from ace. since i am guilty of having an outstanding balance w/ace, i did take steps toward a resolution, however, these folks are very rude and pushy. i initially had a 3 pymnt plan set up, and they got one pymnt, until i started asking questions they didnt want to answer. they have my credit card info and everything, so the only good positive comment i say about the 'titan group' is that when i told them to not draft the other 2 pymnts, they got all pissed and hissed legal lies at me, but they never took more $$ from my acct, and i didn't have to change any information. i'm going to verify them through my local ace chk cashing co, and if they are legit, i'll pay the rest. i'm trying to repair my credit. and the funny thing is, they are not on my credit report, and the other chk cashing places that i have screwed over are (through their own co's).  things that make you say hmmm...

I received two phone calls from a mr. jeffery campbell claiming he is calling about a loan that I owe.  I explained to him that I dont owe any money. I asked him where was he calling me from and he would not tell me at first, then he said he was calling from an attorney's office. I asked him the name of the Attorney's office and the location.  He stated they have 13 locations. I asked him where was he calling me from and he said Atlanta.  He was very rude and tried to make it seem like I was being rude and gave the phone to someone else who claimed to be the lead counsel named Catherine Maddox who was very rude and aggressive. They also stated that I was going to be served papers to go to court and they were going to take my nursing license. I told them to serve the papers and I will go to court and she stated ranting and raving on the phone and I hung up.  She called back and left a lengthy message of how much trouble I was going to be in if I did not pay the money.  I kept explaining to them that I didn't owe any money.  These people need to be stopped and sued for harrassment.  The number they called me from was 1-877-394-5817.

I keep getting calls from 8774188231,8779152909, and 8778659352. All the same person calling saying that they have papers that have to be served to me in 24 hours.  The first time I called the number right back and got some lady wanting 1800 for a chase credit card from 2008.  Then she said she would take half when it older I didn't have that much. When I said I did have even that she said she would take whatever I had as long as it was reasonable.  I told her I would call her back after I looked into this matter.  I called chase bank and they told me that they have no record of any of this.  Have now blocked all calls and now they are calling my family.  Not sure what to do next but this is getting old.

I received a call from Priority Legal Clearing House saying they had a summons and were going to deliver it to my home or office, the number was 877-418-8231. I will not be resounding to the call after reading the experiences of others.

Another Scam caller from Christopher Turner, Legal something Service. He said I'd be receiving a summons in 24 hrs. and need 2 forms of ID and a supervisor or security guard to sign as a witness if it was at work. Come on! I called back and got Craig, who checked my phone number and asked if I was Cassandra Harting. I said no, and he said it must be an error and he'd take my number off the list. I said this is a god-damn scam, and he'd better take it off. Hung up on the idiot and blocked their number. I'm afraid elderly people will be duped by these crooks, so warn your family and friends!

This is the second time I'm receiving a call from the scammers who claim they are Legal Carrying Services!  The representative's name is different each time, but the stupid voice is the same!  From my understanding, what they claim is that I have a judgement against me and yet, they have no idea what my name is.  They say they will arrive at my home or work in 24 hours, yet haven't seen or received anything in those regards!  So please, DISREGARD THESE CALLS!!!  I hope that they don't take advantage of the elderly or anyone else for that matter!!!
