This number contacted my wife at her place of work on friday september 31, 2011. some how they manage to get a hold of this information is a mystery. when i called the number back it said AMERICAN and asked me to leave a message. bull crap call.

I also recevied a call private on my cell phone heard the message from a Terry Hall saying that the plantiff needs my home address so that I can be served for a bad check. Well if its a bad check my address is located on the upper left corner. Its against the law for therats being done this way from collection agencies iam definately saving this message to use against them i just need an address from this scammers.

I asked them for an address and they gave me the run around and never gave it to me. Then I asked them for a statement and they said that they don't do things that way.

Same as the other posters above, got a message left for me on my wife's cell phone that said I was to be served with some financial litigation and this was my chance to clear it up before that happened.  Pretty suspicious considering I have perfect credit and no debt!  Called number, machine said "American" and asked me to press 0 and then leave a message.  No doubt this is BS.  I'm sending a message to the FTC.

A person named Brenda Smith stated I won a contest I submitted online.  I never submitted anything online.

I was told to call another number to claim the dodge derango or other prize.
The number to call was 866-288-2870.

Sounds like a scam.
