caller id was "Unavailable" no message left.  There seems to be a proliferation of "Unavailable" callers these days.

Didn't answer, no message left, blocked!

Typical robo-dial/scammer call pattern - land line rings, caller ID shows "DISABLED AMERICAN V", do not answer, no message left.  I support the DAV, but if it really was them, they would have the decency to leave a message.  BLOCKED

Caller ID name was "DAV Thank You."  We do donate, but we never gave our telephone number, which is unlisted.  Data-mining is a significant threat to privacy.  Support the Electronic Frontier Foundation in its efforts to prevent the assault on privacy in the digital age.

My phone was answered, said they were with DAV and wanted to take us for a donation. I didn’t answer my phone someone else did and told them I was unavailable. I too never gave them my phone number, but donate.  That is a concern of mine too.

My parents both give separate donations twice a year to these people and now they have started calling or so we thought.  After reading these posts I will have to ask them if they have given out their phone number.

Asking for help from someone who posted here over a year ago and will never see your reply helps no one including yourself.  You need to consult an attorney for that problem.  No one here will give you legal advice for the simple reason that it would be erroneous and illegal.  If you cannot afford and attorney, contact the local BAR association to see if there is a legal aid or pro bono attorney that will help you.

I give to DAV but if I thought this was really them I would stop donations immediately.  Blocked.

Caller ID says "toll free call".  Left no message.

Called again.  This time the Caller ID was "DAV DISABLED AM."  This number is blocked on our telephone system.
