Debt scammers.  Do NOT call back.  The game is to get you to pay for debts you do not owe, and never did.  Ignore and block.

Claimed to gave a "claim against me"

Called and left a message saying there was legal action filed against me. Didn't call back after reading reviews.

Called a relative and told them they had a message for me for my boyfriend. We don't own anything together and have never put my relative's phone number on anything. I called the number back and they said that there was a process server in our area doing an investigation on my bf. and that he needed to call back right away. Little did I know these same people had called our house and talked to my bf and told him they had an urgent letter for him?? I don't think we owe anyone but how would they get our information?

Had this happen to me today.  They contacted my brother and my parents.  Said its very important because they need to discuss a complaint against me.  Ive had this happen before and they are straight up scammers.  The call shows up as restricted and when you call the number they leave its some dude who is not all that "professional".  I told him to get his [***] a real job.

They called me twice this morning...1st number came up London,then United Kingdom...he started his scam words,then hung up after 3-4 words....called Right back with the 877 number. My voicemail took both calls. A couple of hours later my sister in New York sent me a text...they had called her asking for me.She said the man was rude. I called the 877 #,they put me on hold,I hung up. What the heck? Thank God I found this link!
I wish life was simple....we don't need scammers... ridiculous!

877-430-3261. These scam artists call 3 times a day. They called my kids, how they got their numbers, I can only guess because we are on family plan for phones. But scared the heck out of my kids. Says I owe on debt, when I asked what debt they said only that they collect debt. I said I needed info and they said I would go to court and find out. They said sheriffs would be notified. Harassment to a ridiculous degree. I know this is bogus because I have no bills under my name, which is a different last name from my husband's. For last 25 years, all bills and home under my husband's name so all they say is a huge lie. My poor kids with this harassment.

Had a "unknown" number call and tell me to contact my dad, that they had a sealed letter for him. Provided me with a call back number (the 877-430-3261) and a reference number. Scam. Disturbing that 1) They found me 2)provided my full name 3)his full name. Yikes!

I learned that these are called "phantom debt collectors".  They use questionable tactics to threaten people on old debt that is past the statue of limitations.  Do not respond.
