I filed a complaint againest them with the BBB. They called me 15 times in 4 days.
Ally tells me I have a "grace" period to get my payment in. They will harrass the hell out of you if you are 3 days past the due date!!!! There should be a law about how many times a creditor can call you & I wasn't even late yet!!!

It is truly stupid that companies don't integrate their systems properly (if at all). I made payment arrangements with the Collection Department (the guys that will do something such as repossession). These cracker jacks on the other hand have no authority other than to call you. Other than stating what Captain Obvious would tell you, or what you already know (because they know your finances better than you right?).

TL;DR Call the collection number for arrangements and put these guys on call screening. If you don't have a Google Voice number, get one and give to these guys so you can label them a PITA that will place them directly to voicemail.

I got a call from this number but I do not answer 800 calls.  I don't have a car and do not owe anyone.  Maybe they are drumming up business?

Yes! Yes! Yes! You have a 10 day grace period before your payment is considered "late" and at 12:01 on your due date the calls start, home , work, cell it's a joke!! But they will change your official due date to 10 days later for a small fee of $450!! If I would have know what a horrible bank they were I would have never agreed to finance my car through them !!! At least have English speaking people harass you!!

Ally Bank calling to find out where my payments at. I doubled paid them in May and asked for a refund on the 6th I finally got it on the 29th which happened to be the due date for my June payment. So I'm delaying their payment like they did my refund. They'll get it Friday....LOL

I completely agree!  They harass the [***] out of you even if you're only a couple days past the due date!  When my lease is up in a year, I will be sure to tell the dealer NOT to even try Ally!  Horrible and major [***]!

Worse bank ever to deal with!  Payment late 2 days and the phone calls once an hour start. Told them not to call my work number and the guy hung up on me.  Rude as heck!

Received a call from this number twice a day for 3 days. Finally, held long enough for a person to ask for a "Brian" - don't even know who that is - jerks!

They have been calling every day for the last week or so.  They call like every 20 minutes, never leave a mesaage.  Finally today they left a message.  I called back and the first thing they wanted was my social.  I refused.  I have no accounts with Ally Financial.

This company does call like 4 times a day as soon as your payment is due..even though I have a 15 day grace period before they add a late fee..That is the only obvious con out of my pros and cons about the company..Pros- I got my first brand new car financed through them, at 52 years old...without even meeting anyone working at ally...They have never repossessed my vehicle from being late, even being almost 3 months late...They never bother me about insurance proof, my address I'm at now or any kind of refinance issues involving raising my payment..If you just never actually answer the phone they can't threaten you..I've yet to speak to anyone on the phone and I've had my car for 2 years and 9 months through ally..Their concern is only getting your payments which I always catch up on, which everyone should always catch up on and keep driving your car and working and living your life..Ally is a bank and it is also a debt collector company, that's why they can call so often to collect a debt.
