1-877-444-2200 keeps calling automatedly asks if you are intrested in lower interest press 1

Since summer 2011 repeated automated message calls, any hour of day, alternating days of the week, many months. If you call the number you will get nothing, the only way to speak with anyone is to pick up press 1. We have and repeatedly asked them TOO TAKE US OFF CALLING LIST PLEASE !!! here we are March 2012 they are still calling

They have hung up on us several times. They know are names because of caller id, refuse to give theirs or dont answer or whom they are calling from (company name etc). One time they said they promissed it would be removed when I asked women what the number they had for me was women answered 000-000-~~~~ which of course was wrong. Others snswered correctly our number during conversation but immeadiately hung up when we asked them to take us of their list nicely.

Finally had enough, I verified for what it was worth we were still on the National Do Not Call List with the National Do Not Call Registry (which we were) and have filed a complaint with this information and kept a copy of the messages. --Stay Tuned--

These scammers do not use the Do Not Call list.  Don't waste your breath telling them to put you on their Do Not Call list - they don't have one.  Their caller ID number is most likely spoofed (faked).  Calls are most likely coming from outside of the country - Jamacia is currently popular. As such, they are beyond the reach of the long arm of the US Government.  Just hang up and move on.  It's not worth getting upset about.

I've gotten many calls from them. If they are offshore then maybe we start talking to them, get their ear real close and blast a horn or whistle into the phone.  petty maybe but some small satisfaction.

The DoNotCall Registry works on voluntary compliance like speed limit signs on highways. Honest telemarketers honor the Registry, abusive telemarketers and scammers do not regardless of who is in office. Please correct your poor reasoning.

I ignored an incoming robocall at dinnertime about lowering my credit card interest rates.  These are baloney scamming calls from illegal telemarketers who are spoofing the Caller ID information that we see.  They pretend to be legitimate by claiming that they work with ALL of the credit card companies, a claim which any of those companies will deny.  They won't give their real company name.  Their "representatives" are almost always rude and use profanity.

The last bit of the robocall message was on my voice mail.  Here it is exactly as it was left:  "Again, this is your final notice as it relates to the FINANCIAL STIMULUS, so press one now to take advantage of this today."

Now you can't tell me that someone who hears that phrase doesn't automatically think of the federal government and is lulled into a false sense of security that this is a legitimate, government-sponsored, debt-relief program.  IT IS NOT.  Do not speak to these crooks.

Everyone needs to immediately report all of these scam calls to www.donotcall.gov.

I use call station on one of our computers with a modem. It has a black list function. Once entered it just disconnects the call. Get it at http://www.imptec.com/callstation.htm it's not that expensive.

Two calls from this number within 15-minutes of one-another.  Robocall both times.  Offered to lower my credit card interest rate (I carry no active balance on my cards), said they were from "Card Member Service."  Caller ID said "UNAVAILABLE," a certain indicator of a SCAM.

Since I am on the "Do not call" list, I reported it to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2  for the government to take follow-up action and fine them (hopefully).

I recommend everyone who receives a call from this originator to turn it in to the government as I did; multiple reports complaining about this scam will prompt the government to fine them and perhaps shut them down.

Received another robocall -- they always call at dinnertime when I refuse to answer any calls.  This bit was left on my voice mail:  "... interest rate on your existing credit cards today.  Please press one to speak to the qualification center on how you can get approved.  Please press two if you'd like to be opted out of these courtesy notices."

"Courtesy notices?"  What a nerve!  I really hate these crooks!

DO NOT fall for this lowering your credit card interest rate scam.  Do not bother speaking to these rude and crude people.  Do not give them the time of day.  Do not press any number to be removed from their lists because you only confirm to them that you have a real, working phone number.

DO report each and every scam call that you receive to www.donotcall.gov.
