Asked for my husband by name. No message

Got a call today from that # --- they said they were from Microsoft security -- something about my computer's security.  I could barely understand them. I think they were calling from India. Long story short, they were trying to sell me computer repair by remote assistance. Took me an hour to finally break away from their grip.   Their # also showed up on my caller ID as # 1, when they called back.  How they got my name is a mystery to me.   I'll call Microsoft and check 'em out.

The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face!

ID says toll  free CA.      left no message.

I did not answer and there was no message left.

called me at 2:51 pm, they waited until the answer machine came on and left no message
they just hung up.The number showed on my caller ID on the phone but when I went to see
who it was that had called it just showed unavailable.

Call every other day, no message left, has been blocked from the first call

Microsoft do not call people!
These Scammers have bee around for awhile. I would tell them that Microsoft do not call people or that you work for Microsoft & they don't call people. You can even tell them that you Do Not have a computer.
They will probably us another spoofed number.

I saw Augie's comment & replied but the I don't answer any numbers that I don't recognize anymore.
I have in the past & these scammers can change their numbers to any number or letters they want to including your own number.

I have been getting numerous calls from this phone number. I do not answer calls from unknown numbers. They do not leave any message. They are just dam  nuisances.

Blocked. No way would  I hire a company that has to spoof calls and annoy the hell out of people for business!

Same old story  - unrecognizable number on my unlisted landline, I didn't pick up, they didnn't leave a message.  My Christmas wish: every one of these scammers gets shut down for good.

I've had them call several times. When I asked, sarcastically, if they are calling directly from Microsoft in Washington, The responses are all over the map from and insistence that they truly are from Microsoft (yeah, right!) to an allegation that they have the exclusive contract with Microsoft to do repairs remotely.
