Just got a call from this # & wanted to check up on it, of course it's another scam, scheme, plot, ploy...bad thing.

Oh, of course - the holiday is over, so let's kick off the abbreviated work week with yet another spam call from this number on my unlisted landline.  I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.  More than a little disruptive, since I'm not just lying around the house eating bon-bons, I actually work here!

I had the same problem as augie.  The first time they called, knew my name, wanted access to my computer.  It took me a while to get them off the phone.  They have called again, most recently last night.  I now have no problem hanging up, or saying something rude and then hanging up.

They called, left no message. When I called the number back, they said they were Home Emergency Repair Solutions and gave me a number menu — everything but "Remove My Number." I blocked them.

India is the up and coming hacker/spammer paradise.  I did not answer this time, but a few years ago I was on the line for half an hour.  Heavy accent, wanted access to my computer to fix a problem.  I fixed it myself by hanging up.

called  4 days in a row.  no message.

Since I don't know this # I don't answer, but today I picked up and said who is bordering me all the time and the other side hung up.

You are correct.
Only the owner or manufacturer (contacted by owner) should have access to anybody's PC...End of story.
I will be getting rid of home phone or landline soon, as it is just bait for scammers. I at least have more control of blocking callers on my cell.

Got call from same. No mssg. Just a call for bait-n-hook technique, used by all scammers.
Leave a message and sound like someone I know, or p_ss off. You will not get a return call and will be blocked.

Calls constantly at inappropriate times, early morning, dinner, etc.  Never leaves a message so you know its a scammer calling. Blocked.

I received 2 calls from 8774442461 in the past week, including one today. Caller did not leave a message but my Phone ID tracker identified the number- it definitely is associated with Home Emergency Solutions...... 4/16/18

Has called almost everyday the last week (twice a day, an hour apart, sometimes thrice)
AT&T labels as Suspected Scan/Telemarketer.

This caller has called again on my landline today at 12:22 PM PDT. I am reporting them to the FCC. It is HVAC . Whoever they are. Invading my privacy.

Calling several times a day.  He needs computer update so that he could repair my computer. Authorized from Microsoft. Big scammmm

this number calls every day so tired of there calls day and night they call.

asked for husband by name no other message, my husband doesn't have a computer, weird !
