This company called Allied International has been ROBO-CALLING our company voice-mail for more than a few weeks with a message for someone's personal matter to collect a debt.  We are now logging the calls in preparation for legal action.  

Their computer asks for some person by name and states that if you are not that person to hang-up because the call contains personal and confidential information.  Allied International is leaving messages on our company voice-mail.   ROBO-CALLING by collection agencies is illegal.

The Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) is enacted to stop abusive, deceptive, and unfair debt collection practices by debt collectors. We've gotten robocalls daily for the past 2 months, and we always let it go to the answering machine. The caller states that he is calling a person we have never heard of.

The caller identifies the company as Allied International and says something about debt collection. He also gives that line about how staying on the phone acknowledges that we are the person he is calling.
