got a call this morning. no message left

Left a pre-recorded voicemail message that comes off like psycho-babble, but ultimately asks that you call another toll free number in response to a debt collector. Very suspicious in that this elaborate and lengthy message fails to identify the collector or the debt? I Googled the to free number, but could not determine who the company/caller is? Can't imagine why I received the call and presume it's a scam of some type.

I just called the number & it said it was the Virtuoso Sourcing Group. ???  They just called my cell phone a few minutes ago & they've called every day for the last few days, but they never leave me a message.

They call me SEVERAL times a day!!! but, leave no msg.

called today.  judging from these posts - I'll just BLOCK the number.

I get phone calls from this number also, several times a day and now they are calling my parents and asking them for my SS#. I am blocking them from my home phone and my parents home phone.

I have received calls from this number several times to claim for a suposed debt collection from my ATT wireless account. The most surprising fact is, that recently I had to open a claim to ATT due to somebody purchasing phones and activating lines using my account and name without authorization. Although ATT resolved to eliminate those charges, I still receive the supposed debt calls from this number.

They were requesting that a payment was necessary (any amount from $70 to $250) immediately or they would send a notification to credit agencies. I did not accepted to make the payment and refered the situation again to ATT, and there was no such debt in the statement!  This is a clear fraudulent activity and MUST be stopped. Hope somebody investigates this.

I also get calls from these people on my cell daily attempting to collect debt.  They never leave messages and when I tell them I'm not who they are looking for they never respond they just hang up.  They also never give a statement of rights.  You know "this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information gained will be used for that purpose and that purpose only" so on and so forth.

Hi Arian, I am in the same situation.  I hope to received some validation from my credit report. If this is real a collection agency or some sort of fraudulent activity, then I will take the appropriate steps. Filing a complaint to BBB and filing a police report soon as possible. I hope to get this resolved soon, as I know I have not opened any accounts recently and I know I DO NOT owe anyone money.

I answered, was on hold telling me to please continue to hold, then it hung up.

I called the number, was on hold for a while.  When I said what happened and that I was trying to figure out who was calling my cell phone, they hung up on me.

Note that them repeatedly calling and then hanging up when you answer is harassment and can be reported to the police. The more information you can provide to them the greater your chances of a successful complaint being filed.

They call  and ask for Rachel.  we do not have a Rachel in our family, but they won't quit calling.  Just don't answer because they have more that one phone number.

I keep getting this on my cell phone. No one answer when you pick up or they ask for someone else. You tell them there is no one there by that name but still call.

They used to drive me crazy using 1-877-738-7938. Did a search on Who Calls Me & is basically same place.

I just don't answer toll free calls now & just let it be a missed call.

They've been calling me for a few weeks now.

If any of you have ordered from Vistaprint, this why you are getting these calls.  They sell customer numbers.  This started when I ordered business cards from them.  I did not make the connection at the time so changed my number as the number of calls from this and various other numbers was insane.  I did answer once and got a total weirdo on the line asking me to be his wife!  I no longer answered after that.
Changed my number, ordered new cards and here we go again!  Vistaprint are scumbags and I am writing to have them remove all my personal information from their database.  If you are in the same situation, here is the address to write to:

I am changing my number again after being woken up while overseas in the middle of the night with one of these calls.  I am also reporting Visatprint to the FCC.  Good luck to the rest of you!

This number started calling my cell this week and they will never leave a message. I have never ordered anything from VistaPrint so I'm not sure why they keep calling me. It's very annoying and I reported the number.

I have been receiving these calls for several months now and they are looking for Michael.  They have been told repeatedly that no one by that name is at this number and to stop calling, but they continue to call several times a day.  Every time they are told to stop calling all I get is "Number has been deleted" and then they immediately hang up.  I have sent a complaint to the attorney general.

I got a call from VS and was told that if i didnt pay the debt for sombody named john royben that VS would come to my house and repo some book set or something. they did have my address. I am not listed as I am with a unit of the armed forces that can not be disclosed.
