Received a call twice in 30 minutes. Phone clicked and a voice said hello.

This "company" called me last week. My wife and I squared the situation. A check had bounced. We took care of it with a credit card. They re-submitted the bad check. It showed up on my wife's account AGAIN. I called them to see why they did that. The first "lady" that I talked to hung up on my because I asked her to please stop interrupting me and let me ask a question. I called back, they would not answer. I called a second time, they still wouldn't answer. I called back a third time from a different phone, they answered and a second "lady" explained what they did, but was utterly belligerent when I asked about their process. She started to scream at me "what are you, brainless?!" Then she hung up on me. I am baffled.

These people left a message for someone with the last name of "Goddard," regarding "pending legal actions" from an animal hospital.  I called back to tell them they had the wrong number, repeated /several times/ that they had dialed the /wrong number/ and the phone was actually under my boyfriend's account.  They put me on hold, and another woman picked up, asking me what my name was, saying "Oh I can't hear you," "I thought you said you were her daughter," (Goddard could be misheard as "daughter," I suppose, but, given her tone and the number of times I had to repeat myself, I'm more inclined to think this was a passive-aggressive game used to "out" people) etc.

When I enunciated every syllable, I finally got a snippy "thanks."
