someone called me and called my family members asking for me and leaving a message about issuing a bad check or something bad checking acct.  Funny thing is I don't use checks.  Not sure what this is all about but they say they have a summon for me that they will bring to my work or home.  Sounds like a scam.

I have received several phone calls this week from some woman named Ama Dray claiming to be from an attorneys office. She wanted information about my son, and said he needed call this number immediately to avoid being "served."  Of course she would not tell me what Attorney's office she was calling from.  This happens about every three months and I have to block them from my phone. This number is a scam and they use threats to try and obtain personal information.

I received a call today from an Emma Drake from Herb Seigle saying I was listed as a reference for my sister in law and she was being sued for bad check/banking issues, is this a scam or does she need to contact them????

This number called me blocked!!!! This number called people in my extended family claiming I had bad checks?  Guess what?  I haven't take to the people they called but one time in TWENTY years.  They have no info when I called, sent me no paper notice, not one piece of mail.  I asked for s physical address and debt verification letter.  They have sent NOTHING.  I was a paralegal by trade, and am quite familiar with fair debt collection practices, NONE of which they seem to follow.  This place tries to use fear to her people to do whatever they say.  It's crap.  Im grateful I found these consumer reports both under the name they use, and the number they left with my extended family.  Really, they should be ashamed!

I received a call from the same number for the same subject, a compliant from a bank about a bad check. The lady identified herself as Cindy Bishop.  The attorney's firm is Herb Siegel, phone number 877-470-9746. However when I called the firm the guy that answered said no women work there.  This guy was quick to hang up when I mentioned scam.

They left a message on my sister cell phone how they got her number i don't have a clue..Talking about a check.

Just got a call (unknown) leaving this number to call in regards to a lawsuit being filed against my ex-husband whom I haven't seen/spoken to/heard from in 28 years.  claimed it was referred to my local towns firm (which he is nowhere near here).  Complete scam.

I got a voicemail from a guy at Herb Siegel Attorney's office saying they were going to be serving me at my residence or workplace with a subpoena for court on a civil lawsuit and to call immediately, they even left a case number. I called the number back, they didn't give a company name or even say their name when they answered. They then insisted I give them a credit card number to pay a payday loan I supposedly never paid back. I told them I needed more information and he got very verbally abusive so I hung up and then called the local court house, they told me they had no record of the case number and it was possibly a scam and to not give out any information to them. I then stumbled upon this website and I am so glad I did!

I noticed today a random deduction from my checking account going back five months. I called the phone number attached to the Nov. '15 deduction and it is no longer in service. I called the phone number associated with the October '15 deduction and a woman answered. I asked what this deduction was for and she replied it was for Internet service on a trial basis. I have Internet and it is just fine. I did not ask or request this. She said she could refund me back 30 days but I could no longer use the service.(the service I know nothing about) She said I would receive an E-mail stating termination of their service and I should see a credit to my account within 4-7days. The charges are only for $8.97 per month but I never asked for or authorized this. She spoke rather fast so I couldn't make out the name of this company even though I asked her for the name several times. I asked her several times for her name and she finally said it was Natalie. I had to threaten to file a complaint just to get Natalie. I read the prior comments and think it is rather funny that everyone says their experience with this phone number is associated with bad checks or payday loans. We have been swamped with people calling about payday loans, either we have been approved or where do they send our check. I have never applied for a payday loan but the timing is very ironic to me. I'm for sure I never requested a trial Internet service tryout. In fact I still don't know the name if the company but my checking acct shows the deduction is for "NTT*FITM8.NET"  According to Google this is an invalid acct.

the proper place to dispute a charge is with your bank.  You have a limited amount of time to do this, so do it today.  Second, the bank should be able to give you the name and address of who took that money.

Same issue:  Called today after finding this site via google search.  The note below from my bank indicated a phone number that does not work.  This was just posted on my account.  Same deal with the $8.97.  Will credit to my account in 4-7 days.  The first deduction was in September.  September and October money is lost, but getting back November posted on 11/16/2015.  Said this was for an internet service that helped one with health and fitness issues.  Wife says she remembers something about a trial but never used it.  A lot of double talking scam.

Zero reluctance on the part of the lady that answered the phone.  I did not even ask for a refund but was immediately told she was issuing a refund.

I received a 8.97 bill on my back statement from netm8.net when I called this number was told the number was no longer in service

I keep getting an amount deducted from my account and i can't stop it. 8.97

Received a deduction in my bank account for $8.97. Called the number associated with the deduction - 877-470-9746. The lady I spoke to stated this was for an internet service that helped one with health and fitness issues. I knew nothing about this internet trial. She is refunding me my money with no problems.
