I get a couple of calls everyday from this number as soon as I pick up it hangs up. This has been going on for a few days now.

It is Cabela's trying to call and tell you your order is in. Something is wrong with the machine.

Got three calls today,  I have three orders just arrived at Cabela's for pick up. Their computer doesn't deal well with my answering machine.  It hung up after saying "The status of your order".  I also got three separate e-mails confirming the orders.

Yes this number is Cabelas letting you know your order has arrived in stock. If you call the number back and enter your order number, listen to the following options, you can stop them from calling you in the future to inform you about your order.

It's Cabelas - I never answer any of the 1-800 phone numbers so I have no idea what happens when you actually answer the call.  But they have always left me a message - it's an automated guy's voice notifying me of an order that's has arrived at our store here in Billings, MT.

I blindly answered and Hung up quickly.  They left no message.

This is cabella's.  They called to confirm an order delivery

I answered a call from this number.  What I heard was a ringing sound, as if me answering caused the call to be forwarded to another number.  I just hung up.

This number called. My answering machine picked up. Now message was left but then it began dialing another number. That call was answered by another automated machine saying they could not process my call. What call. I better not be billed for a long distance call. Whoever this is has a really bad system.

I am on the NO-CALL List. For the past several days I have been getting unsolicited calls on my cell phone from 877-477-4836 = Cabellos, tape recorded message states "Hi this is a message from Cabellos"

I do not shop with them, have not shopped with them and I do not intent to shop with them.
I want them to stop thier solicitiation calls on my PHONE

Cabela's. I ordered something online last week from them and this is the automated notification that it has arrived. Off to pick up my new winter coat...

Good chance your husband is ordering under your number then... :)  They don't solicit on this number or any number for that matter.

Got the call this morning. My ammo has arrived ;-)

This is Cabela's order department letting you know that the order you placed on-line or at an in-store kiosk is now ready for pickup. If you want to avoid these calls, do not give a phone number when you place your order; it is not required. You can use your email addy instead and then they will notify you by email. By giving your phone number you are saying you want to be notified by phone. Hope this is helpful.

Cabelas! My online order has arrived! Never thought I'd look up an 800 number to find out that it is from someone that I don't mind calling me. I love Cabelas!

Last 2 posts are thinly veiled spam. No one, I repeat, no one looks up a phone number for a business that they are happy with. Why would they?

I can't speak for Brad, but it seems like he meant that he was happy the outcome of the search was Cabelas. As was I. After getting continously spammed by toll free numbers for the past month, now I ALWAYS look them up on line without a clue as to who they are. So when I found out that it was Cabelas I was relieved bc my fiances order is in and it was not spam.

If you answered and hung up, they would be unable to then leave a message.
