- bjthis number called every half hour from 5:00pm until 7:00 leaving no message
- HecksterIf you've ever applied to Lending Tree or any other online mortgage refi website, they send your number to several other mortgage companies. This company is New American Funding. They call ALL DAY EVERY DAY!!!!!!!! Supposedly if you answer the phone and tell them to remove your number they eventually do. Guess I'm too lazy. I just put them on my call reject list on my cell. Sends them straight to my VM. They don't leave messages anyway.
- Caller: New Amercian Funding

- DbNever applied for any loan, this number keeps calling my cell about every 1/2 hour, when I answer no one is on the line.
- DianaA man named Phil Sparrgrove applied for a mortgage using my phone number by mistake. I've tried to contact him, but no luck. I keep getting these calls and they need to stop. Thank you.
- Caller: Lending Tree

- The Gaber| 1 replyI searched online to review potential refinance options..the online web advised they needed my email and phone number to see what options are available. Now I'm receiving phone calls and emails more than I thought I would receive.... So if your not really really really interested in requesting financial options DONT provide your phone number .
- Caller: REI Allen

- BigA replies to The GaberHow is it that you didn't expect them to contact you after giving them that information?
- Wade PerschonThis number calls at least six times a day with no one on the line. This was linked to the HARP email online. Never get suckered into giving out any information at all.
- annoyedReceived a call from 877-478-8003 on my cell. I didn't answer and then got three voicemails from 301-747-9037 Quicken Loans, 301-825-8818 J G Wentworth, and 301-246-6360 Loan Depot. Each message said they were getting back to me about my interest in refinancing a mortgage, but of course I never contacted them. Called each number and asked to be taken off their call list, Made note of the person's name, date, and time. If the calls continue I will be sure to contact the FCC.

- Davy Jones| 5 repliesCredit Karma posted a link for 877-478-8003 on their website supposedly to calculate how much money down necessary to purchase a home. I thought CK was a reputable business. Big, BIG mistake. That number is for New American Funding. I have had no peace since. They call relentlessly, 24/7/365. NAF leaves texts, voicemails. They harass me with hang-ups 3, 4, 5 times a day. I am on the DO NOT CALL list but it doesn't do squat. I've blocked NAF every way possible but they still get through. I unsubscribed from Credit Karma and filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. New American Funding also uses another number 888-205-6059.

- Tygerkat replies to Davy JonesThe DNC list does exactly what it was created to do: it tells legitimate telemarketers not to call you. Nor is it a call blocker so I'm not sure why you say "it doesn't do squat".
- MikeHuntleton replies to Davy Jones| 1 replyYou know if you contact them, then the DNC doesn't apply unless you specifically tell them to stop calling, right? Perhaps instead of hiding behind the DNC as the one at fault and crying about the mistake YOU made in giving them your number to call, you might want to go actually read what the DNC covers.
- BigA replies to Davy JonesYou asked for more information and happily gave them your phone number and now they are calling you? I doubt that they are calling 24/7/365. Have you told them to stop calling? Probably not which means that they don't know you don't want them to call. You should probably learn to research before signing up since Credit Karma has a bad reputation as well.
