You cant hide your caller ID when you call an 800 number.  800 numbers use a different system to get the number of the calling line.  Your best bet is to not call those numbers back, because now they know they have a "live one".

Calls every day never leaves message

They are looking for my exwifes son.  I like what a friend of mine does  If its a woman on the phone he asks what color panties she has if it is a man on the line he says  zip your fly you prevert!  It works everytime they studder and hang up.  Gota luv it.

This guy would not tell me where he is calling from unless I give him my address and SSN to verify who I am,I said I need to know who you are before I give out my personal information so he says sorry have a great day

Has been calling every morning for quite a while and never leaves a message. Blocked the number a while back, but it still shows up in my incoming call log every day.

I think these people get your number sometimes from fake postings on job boards.  I have a very private number that is only used for specific things.  i recently was job hunting and it's the only place i can think of where i listed this number.  i filed a complaint with the ftc and the job boards i was browsing.

They are calling me...telling me to press 1, which of course i don't do....it's becoming a daily thing...i am on the do not call registry...i don't owe any money...have an exceptional credit rating...and am really looking for some way to hurt these guys

Well. Debt collectors don't listen to DNC lists as they have business to tend to. A DNC list only applies to telemarketing, not to debt collection.

It's a collection company for public storage

Called me twice today. Allied interstate LLC collections. They collect for public storage.

After a month or more of calls and no messages,  I call back today and was asked if Salvador Ensencio was available. No business ID , just target name. Said will remove number. I will now block.

Calling my cell phone the last couple of days in the morning. Today I answered twice and there was silence; I missed another call today and no message. I have now blocked the number.

Allied Interstate is a collection agency. They have a spotty record and the BBB has an F reported for them.

It is a collection agency for Public Storage. They call and do not leave a message. The Reps. are foreign with very heavy accents and do not listen to what you are telling them.

Foreign guy calls 3-8 times day for the last few weeks can barely understand what he is saying but these calls are getting ridiculous

Had the same experience as all others with the constant calls 3 to 5 times daily. I finally had enough so I called them and asked to have my number removed. The next day I received a call so I answered and told them I wanted my number off their list. The next day was my day off so when they called I answered again. After I hung up I called them, and called and called and when they got nasty with me I told them I will do this every time they call me. Haven't received another call from that number again.
