Received a call that went directly to voice mail. Stated they were calling from WellCare and they had info regarding prescriptions, but this is not one if their listed numbers.

Received a call from this number claiming they were WellCare and they had information about a prescription.  Gave this number to call back, but it is not one of the numbers on my membership card.  Called one of the numbers on my membership card and found out that WellCare is closed on the weekend.  I then called this 877 number and the automated response said it was WellCare.  I BELIEVE THIS IS A SCAM.

It's possible that Wellcare is using a 3rd party notification but it's so hard to know these days.  I called the number back and it asked for verification of the phone number.  I didn't receive a call so of course it found no message for me.  As long as they don't ask for anything more than your phone number, since they can glean that from your call, it might be worth calling just to find out if it is Welcare.  Could be nothing more than advertising.  You might also check with your online profile to see if you can opt out of call notifications in case you haven't already done so.  I hope you'll post back and let the community know.

I called WellCare, it is NOT their phone number.  Definitely a scam.

Keep getting a call from Well Care to fill my prescription and it is already filled.  Offered to connect me with my pharmacy, which I thought was strange.  Number comes up 978-547-2104 - from Billerica, MA.  We have some important information about your prescription.  Please return our call at 877-482-5517.

They do not use third parties...this is a scam according to Wellcare

I answered on last week--stupid. Realized later after I hung up it was a strange call.  I gave my DOB and said "Yes". So then I went into Experion and put a fraud alert on my account in all 3 credit reporting services. They called back again today-

Received this robocall a couple times now. Caller ID says "Wellcare 978-547-2104" and recorded message gives a number "1-877-482-5517".  When I go onto the Wellcare website, I have no messages, so the robocall must be a scam.  I will not call those numbers!

Same as above.  It's not unusual do we ask for date of birth when it comes to Medicare and things but then they started asking me for other numbers and I just kind of went I don't think this may be real. Then I tried to look up the number and of course it comes up as Rockville dentistry or something

The call came in from 978-547-2104 and the voice message on my phone did not identify the caller by name.   It just left instruction tp call 1-877-482-5517.  I am a Wellcare Rx insurance subscriber, but I will not call the 5517 number.

Caller ID said Wellcare with 978-547-2104 number.  They called twice.  First time left a message to call them about my husband's prescription at 877-482-5547.  I could have written the last two numbers down wrong.  Verified with Wellcare by calling their member services.  They said it was NOT calls from them but some healthcare company selling emergency devices and Medicare Advantage Plans.  We have blocked on landline and I told Wellcare if they need to contact us please send a letter.  With United Health Care's subsidiary Change's data breach/ransomware incident in Feb. 2024 affecting hospitals, pharmacies, dr. offices, etc. scammers have all our information including our Part D coverage information.  Be aware - they are scammers

I’ve received two calls from them saying they had important information about my prescription. I can’t imagine what information they have that they have to call me about. I renew my scripts via the pharmacy that I use. I called WellCare and the rep said that she didn’t recognize the number and to ignore it.
