- CarolSame story -- $9.55 from Den Enterprises -- this was charged to a US Govt credit card and has been reported. Maybe Uncle Sam can track these jerks down!
- Micro TechSee my first listing above.
My card has been used at numerous online sites. It is a company credit card and all parts are purchased on it.
Here is a list of places I have used it: (Maybe this will help)
Newegg
TigerDirect
E-bay
Amazon - Bill from Las VegasI was charged 9.60 by Den Enterprises 877-487-4751. Bank immediately cancelled Debit Card and will issue a replacement.
- MattI got a charge for $9.60
I found it while online to pay my account and saw this "pending" transaction. I haven't used this card in 2 months as I am just paying down the balance due to the high interest rate. I have NO idea how anyone got this account number.
Cancelled account and will fill out the paperwork. Pain in the A??!- Caller: Den Enterprises
- PamI checked my banking statement online and found a charge for $9.65...I know for a fact that I have not made a purchase in that amount. I looked into it further and it listed the charge as a debit charge to DEN Enterprises with the telephone # 1-877-487-4751. I called the number and it was a mans voice saying that the call was being forwarded to a voicemail system. I did not leave a message. I then searched 'DEN Enterprises' and found that I was not the only person who has had a charge from this company. Of course, it is Saturday and I am unable to contact my bank about it. I will definitely keep my eyes on my account until Monday and report this first thing. How do people get by with this kind of stuff. It may only be $9.65 but if 100 people receive this charge...someone is making money hand over fist for doing nothing but scamming people unknowingly. Something needs to be done but, I have no idea what to do. I feel that this is something that our banking institutions should look into and handle.

- Tacona MackI checked my bank statement today and i have a $9.65 charge on my statement as well from Den Enterprise. I have to cancel my card and get a new one. How are these people or inhuman creatures getting our card info??? Is these banks that we bank tied into this scam somehow?
Beware and be careful - GrantIn terms of reporting it needs to be reported to the Federal Trade Commision at 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357) and if you ignore all the prompts and press 450 each time then you get routed directly to a person and you can file a complaint. It can also be done online at FTC.gov. I recommend calling, it's a bit easier and you get a case reference number. I've already reported it but FTC can only take down info pertinent to YOUR experience (IE they don't accept that I offered that this is happening to many people or my offer to tell them all the alias names of the company) so the more reports the better (I assume). Good Luck!
- compsci21I too was also hit by this "DEN Enterprises" for $9.55. Tried calling the number listed and got nothing. Thing that sucks for me was I was going to close my account because I didn't need it anymore and my balance was $0.00 so when this weird charge hit my account I got a bunch of overdraft charges. So I hope that they get whoever is doing this crap! On my statement it appeared that they were from IL.
Also it said it was a card transaction but my card never left my site, so i have no clue as to how it happened. - JasonSame happened to me just yesterday. I watch my accounts like a hawk so it immediately stood out. The situation has been handled with my bank but interestingly the phone number that came through on th statement for them was different 800-566-4043. Keep any eye out for that number as well. Good hunting everyone.
- daveI was charged 9.65 from this 'Den Enterprises' and also 4.95 by a company called 'bestsmartstore com llc'. Both are fraudulent charges by bogus companies. I called my CC company and they are crediting my money back and issuing a new card.
Thanks to everyone for taking a stand against these crimes. - Kris replies to ShariThis morning I checked my statement online and saw that I had a charge for 9.55 from Den Enterprises 800-566-4043. I cancled my card immediatly what sucks is I only had 8 bucks in that account now I got over draft fees. I made a purchase at a local GAMESTOP in california in DEC I wonder if it cant be connected?
- neilYeah, I got a bogus charge from DEN Enterprises on my mastercard credit card this month for $9.65. I had never heard of them and disputed the charge with my card issuer. I also referred my card issuer to various websites discussing this company as a scammer so they can (hopefully) see I am not just being finicky.

- PortlandGirlGot a frantic call last night from my mother who is in her 70s about a fraudulent charge of $9.55 on her Visa by DEN Enterprises. I had her call the card company, who is reissuing her card. Thank you, Grant, for posting the info on the Fair Trade Commission. I'll pass that on to her, too.

Seems awful strange that just 3 months after I signed up for CreditInform, this starts to happen on my account. I had just gotten a new card from my bank, because they changed names. So the only thing that I EVER used it for was my monthly fee for CreditInform. I had read/heard something before about some of the Credit Protection companies (CreditInform, Equifax, .....) had been either selling info, or had been hacked and the info was used just for this type of thing. Makes me want to think twice about keeping my Credit Inform account.

- AnonymousI looked on my checking account tonight around 10:30 and noticed Den Enterprises (amount $9.60) on my banking account. I immediately compared my receipts and didn't remember making a purchase for that amount. I googled the company and found this website and then cancelled my account through my 800 number. I then called the 18774874751 number with no response but then immediately recieved a call back from an 813-789-9823. The man on the other end was rude and before I even told him why I called, he said "I don't have your credit card number!!!" So, now I know that there is something VERY strange about this "small transaction." Please if you read this, tell all of your friends and family-- especially older family members. I read on another site that after three or four days there was a $200 charge on the account from the same company!!! Be careful and tell everyone! Also feel free to call the other number because there is definitely a man on the other end who knows what is going on.
