Called and left no message. Blocked. Said "TOLL FREE CALL"

Got a call from someone saying that they were with Allstate asked kindly to be taken off there call list and the n#### said he would call anytime he wanted they say I have to keep it clean so let's just say I hung up on him after a few choice words

cold call. no message left.  dammit they are now spamming cell phones

No message left and I don't ever answer 800-based numbers unless I'm expecting a call. Seeing above... I'm glad I didn't!

This is Allstate. I told the guy it was my cell. He argued with me about their right to call it. The finally I got himto  say he'll take it off their list.

Maybe telemarketing!!

I answered and a female asked for my wife by name.  I asked what this was regarding.  She asked if I was the spouse.  I asked what this was regarding.  She said she was from Allstate insurance, that it was a recorded call, and if I would proceed.  I told her it wasn't my wife's number, we don't have Allstate or plan to have it, she didn't have my permission to record the call, and to never call back again and then I hung up.  Since she never said a name I was guessing that it was the call where they record you saying the word "yes" and use it to charge you with something.

Welp allstate ? Or could it be portfolio recovery? up to their shinanigans, again ...the fact that they are recording makes one think that u can get yourself in some sort of jam . All i gotta say is blocked...
