I just got a call from that number too.   Got it yesterday as well and tried to answer.....just disconnected me.  I'm in Indiana

When I called it back it was DirecTV.

Get calls all the time.  I answer it but nothing.  Don't answer it and never leaves a message

something has to be done, these people call consistently day and night, what can be done about that.
It's horrible, that telemarketing can harass people like that and nothing can be done about it.

This number calls at least once a day.  Since it is an 877 number I decline to answer it.  The first time I did answer it there was no one on the line.  I am electing to block this number.  But the block is only good for 3 months before it has to be done again.

What can be done?

Just DirecTv reminding me I'm a little late with my bill. Will pay them Monday.

I read this posts and it made sense that it was directv. I called it back since I jsut made payment but it diercted me to Verizon??? I dont have erizon service. too weird.

Its really disturbing.

I continue to get calls from Directv. The have MY number on someones account.  And they refuse to remove it. I put in a complaint with the MD State Attorney General.

They leave message with number and annoy the crap out of me cause payment was made yet they keep calling.  Then ask why are you late and bla bla bla Grrrrrrr if the payment was made leave us the hell alone!

ITS DIRECTV AND DONT TRANSFER YOU TO VERIZON OR NOTHING.

All at least twice a day(including weekends)--I do not have any account with them(and never did and of course, never will). Intend to call the local DirectTV folks to do something. Will keep in touch here to let you know the outcome, if any.

You can get rid of these calls by paying your bill!  Occasionally you'll get stuck in the system a few days after you make payment.  If you pay your bill give the system a few days before freaking out, you know the number is Directv so dont be alarmed.  If you dont have this service then its obviously wrong number.

Never had DirecTV service, and if I ever catch anyone on the line and they're as condescending as the collector who commented before me, I never will.

This number calls 6-7 times a day. Sometimes with maybe a minute between calls. It's more than a pain. I don't use DTV and I'd do without before engaging their service.

I am not a direct tv customer, please stop calling . This is ridiculose, I received a call from this number durning chuch service.

This stupid [***] # calls 2 or 3 times a day. Name is "TOLL FREE CALLER". I answer, they hang up. Every damn time. if its Direct TV and I owe on a bill, why is it hanging up on me? Sick of this crap!
