I just want to know who this is calling me

It's a debt collector.  they left me a message to call back to # 866-352-0458.  If you look this # up, you'll see more info on them.  I had an old bill from AT&T thru this company but I paid it like 2 months ago.  Sooo, I guess I'll call them and see what they want.

i figured it was something like that. i appericate the info. this is like the 3rd place trying to collect.

Received a call from this number and since I did not recognized it, decided to research it.  Seems like another debt collector.

at&t dept collection. funny how i paid this bill approx 6 months ago... very frustrating..
and they keep calling my work number even when they have been told NOT too!

Well, then you will need to send them a letter telling them to do that.  Or you can hope they see your post here.  If you chose the latter, please come back and let us know if it worked for you.

Do not call me at work....I  don't get personal calls...I have contacted my hr department about this

It is AT&T debt collector.  AT&T is trying to charge me for a full month of service, even though I cancelled the service within the 14 day buyer remorse period.  They were sued for doing this several years ago for the same thing.  Sort of their, 'Don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out.'  I won't pay it and have told them so, because I do not owe for a full month of service when I had the service for only 9 days and cancelled it in the buyer remorse period.  AT&T had to pay out over $40 million the last time they did this crap.

I've just received a call from this number, missed the call, and looked up and found the information listed here.

I know that others are listing the number as a debt collector, but I am wondering if it might be a scammer, mainly because I have not used AT&T in years (and I paid all my bills with them), and I do not publicly list the number they called on in any official documents.

I think it's a scam because if it was a debt collector for At&T I wouldn't be able to have service with them and I have 7 lines and direct tv which is owned by At&T so that makes no sense.

It's AFNI, a debt collector I have never had an att account , they must be calling about a different scam the last time I heard from them was more than 2 yrs ago about a student loan. Unfortunately for them it's taken care of (without their crap)

They told me they were ACME calling.  No idea what they wanted.  Guy kept beating around the bush & not really saying anything.  I kept saying who is calling & what do you want.  He kept saying, "I will tell you."  He did not tell me anything.  JERK.  So I hung up.

I had ATT and they are charging me for a full month when I cancelled.  They have been calling relentlessly over the last few weeks and I ignore because I am not paying it.

I actually paid the final bill on time after I cancelled service for a move and have the reference number they provided as proof, but I still got on the harassment phone list as well as they hit my credit!!!

No message, no conversation. If they don't leave voicemail, it must not be that important. This number will be blocked.

This HAS to be a scam. I don't owe any bills to AT&T.
