They called on june 18. Were rude and belligerent and would not say why they were calling, only that it was "personal business". I hung up on them.  caller id identified them as "unavailable".

Got call on August 6, 2012.

They claimed they were the city of New York and they were calling in reguards to a "ticket" we recieved on a piece of property we owned. They said the ticket was dated in the year 2005, and we never paid that ticket.

That is 7 years old ticket. I asked for them to reproduce the ticket, and they said they cannot. I know I am up to par with my bills and payments from the City of New York, I get mail directly from them, every month. Im sure if I am tardy on a payment, the city would notify me via telephone all those years, via mail, numerous notices; they would have posted the tickets on my property like they ALWAYS do, and the fine would have escaladed from being tardy. I have absolutely perfect credit, and I run my credit check every year as well.

In the end, the rude lady on the phone said she was a collection agency. She lied and told me she was calling and WAS the city of New York. (Not calling in BEHALF of the city, I am aware of the difference). THEN, she asked me to give my credit card information on the phone, for the ticket's face value that I recieved in 2005. I said no, and she threatened legal action against me if I do not pay this mysterious and bogus $150 ticket I recieved 7 years ago.

SCAMMER.

I get calls from this number at least twice a day; always hang-ups. I called back and on the first ring a woman answers "hello?" Now, I have done some business over the phone and I have never called an 800 number for a company and was met with a plain old, nondescript "hello?" Whatever the people on the other end of this number are up to, it is no good.

These people keep calling me early in the morning and waking me up - I do not know who they are as I do not answer the phone.

These people call two and tthree times a day. It drives me crazy!

Calls almost daily n they don't answer probably because they want you to call back n then they'd have the right to contact you...

He called and asked me if I was the owner of so and so building and told me that I have $800 fine for violation. But when I asked him about details he hung up.

It's a collection agency.   They were looking for two totally different people whom I don't know.  She was very nice and said my number would be removed.

These people call two and tthre times a day.

3 times today, all hang up.
2 times yesterday, guess they got a lot of quarters to waste.

I never answer there calls.

Calls repeatedly. I blocked the number months ago, but the caller keeps sending robo calls to me. Goes by 885-501-5492 also. These idiots have way too much time on their hands. Get a real job and stop wasting the Earth's good oxygen!  SCAM!!
