received a voice message from an unknown number.  person spoke very good english, identified herself as Ashley Thomas, process server for the state (hmmm..what state) to call her back at 877-501-9912 referencing a case number..

This person stated she had tried many times to contact me with no luck and that she wanted me to call back to meet with her so she could give me these very important papers.

When you call that number back, it has a recording stating it is the ACS office and if you have recently been served a court summons, etc.....

This number was left as a message with a relative of mine whom I do not use on any of my financial endevours. They knew all my demographic information. With that being said, as previously stated it is a law firm called ACS. I was able to make payments as low as 50 bucks a biweekly with an initial payment of 100 dollars. They did have a court summons but we agreed to handle this situation outside of court. They were very courteous. I would suggest giving them a call back rather than ignore because court proceedings will persist with our without you. If the case is handled without you they could put a judgment on your credit report, freeze assets and/or wage garnishment.

How strange....when I contacted the AGO and FBI, they stated that this was a scam.

And the ACS Group is not a licensed lawyer....Individuals are licensed, NOT business names

from what I understand about the state laws for where I live, wages cannot be garnished except for child support and federal taxes.........At least that is what the Attorney Generals office said
