Keep calling my damn house from 8am -6pm. Starting 6/20/08. Talking about they asking for keshawn Owens and the want info on credit card fraud. I told them to find a next victim! Visa fraud they say!

Says they're calling from my bank (giving actual bank name) and have my actual last 4 digits of my Visa #.  Claim that they're calling about Visa Fraud.  The automated system wants me to enter my card # so I held on for an operator.....then she wanted my zip code and birthdate!  Yeah right!  I hung up!

They are calling me asking bogus name and reporting visa fraud. They call me 3 times on Sunday. I called them the person you are looking for doesn't live here and take my # off the list. Of course I did not tell my #.

I got a call from 877-504-1031 about credit fraud but that's funny because I use a service that was recommended to me at http://www.helpmeasap.com and they email immediately if there is any activity on my report.

Yep. I just got the same call from the same number 877-504-1031 after I made an online donation to a homeless non-profit organization. They wanted my card number info. I told them That I was calling from the number they just called and that I'm not comfortable giving strangers my card number. They told me to call my bank to verify...I called my bank... Bank (MCU-NYC)told me not to give my card number to anyone making such claims.

They called both house and cell. It's hard to know for sure if this is legit. They need info on card number or social security number in order to provide any info on "recent transactions".

When I googled the number I only found this message board.

I decided to ignore their call and will call MCU directly tomorrow.

I just received the same message..when I called them back they were asking for personal information related to my account; that drew a red flag and asked if I could contact the bank in person.  Never give out your personal information over the phone, especially during holiday time.

Just got a call from the same number. Asked for my card number, zip code and last 4 Socials. Hung up on them.

Also received a call from 877-504-1030 stating that they are with Visa Fraud Protection Service with MCU...which is my bank. Asked for info that I refused to give them. Went to MCU and spoke with a rep who verified that this number (AND THIS NUMBER ONLY) is in fact their Visa Fraud Protection Svce. Before you do anything, call/visit MCU for verification.

I don't think this is a scam number. It seems that the only people receiving these calls are all MCU customers, including myself. And I've received a call from this number twice and each time was when I made an online purchase that was processed overseas and they wanted to confirm if I actually made the purchases. Each time mine was for a language program whose company is based in Europe

I got a call from this number as well. I decided to call MCU directly and they advised that this number is infact to their fraud department. I didnt give her the number, she recited it to me.

What most of you don't know is that this is legit. Someone was trying so hard to use my credit cared number, but it didn't have enough cash to purchase whatever it was, so they called the next morning. Of course i hung up immediately and called my bankMCU. I asked theagent to recite the number of their visa fraudlent ppl and she did. When i called the number back, they did ask for my card number and ssn, however, i had the option nit to give it to them. They asked a few questions to verify my identity and asked if i authorized any of thetransaction they called. I said no. Someone was trying to use my credit card and they helped me stop it. So do yourself a favor a call the number back. Don't give them your ssn or card number, just press zero to talk to an agent.

This is entirely legit. If you have a credit card with MCU and their algorithms pick up something out of the ordinary they will call you to verify. Some times it's nothing, e.g. you may have purchased something on the internet from a foreign country, and sometimes they really do catch evildoers before they can do much evil. It's nice to know they are really on it. Take this seriously, call them back.

This 877 number (877-504-1031) number keeps calling my work cell number asking for a Teeshawn and leaving an automatic message stating it's from their fraud department. I am guessing it;'s the department that commits fraud.The amount of times they are calling can be considered harrassment. Never met this Teeshawn person and think it's a scam. How do I get these fraudulent company/people to stop calling my number?

This is a legit #.from MCU visa fraud.My card was stolen before that's why every transaction I made out of the ordinary they call me back right away

This is a legit # from mcu fraud dept. if you want to keep your card open..call 877 504-1031 back immediately.

I check this number right away on google and this message board came up. i decided to contact my mcu.
now I came back to let everyone know that this number is legit. I called mcu and I told them what happen and the rep. told me the number that was calling me without me telling her. I was happy to find out that the visa fraud prevention that kept calling me were legit and they were able to lock my card before more attends were made. now mcu is sending new cards for me and my husband.  Do you self a favor and call mcu right away because this company 877-504-1031 will lock your card. im glad they legit is an A+ to have some security when It comes to banking.
