Claims to be United Health Care, they are not.

United Healthcare claiming to have important information about my prescriptions. They want me to call them back at (877) 515-0872. Don't think this is a legit number for United Healthcare

Had same text message from United Healthcare about my prescription.

United Healthcare claiming to have important information about my prescriptions. They want me to call them back at (877) 515-0872.  I called this number back from the number they called me on, even though I know better!  There was an automated message that said it didn't recognize my number so I called from my mobile thinking it was linked to my UHC account but I got the same message.  When I finally realized I was being duked, I called UHC directly and they said that (877) 515-0872 isn't their number and nobody from UHC had called.  FRUSTRATING!!

2nd scam call in two days supposedly from United Healthcare about prescriptions. It is not. First call from 844-316-8434. I spoke with someone. Did not provide information they wanted. Looked it up. Scam. Another call today and they left a voice message from 877-515-0872, United Healthcare about prescriptions. Although 877 is UHC area code, this too is a scam. This needs to stop!

Received the same call UHC about medicine....scam.... How do they get away with this?

Caution- These are hackers that are attempting to get your personal information. Likely the same group that hacked into
United HealthCare’s data base a year ago. Recommended to report this to your states Attorney Generals office.

Same content as above. Call came in from a spoofed number 817-409-0968 (my area), which, upon Googled reverse look up showed nothing. Auto call, supposedly, UHC directing me to call 877-515-0872 about important information pertaining to my prescriptions. Was not born yesterday.

Good luck trying to inform UHC about this scam.  We spent 45 minutes on the phone with UHC and we were 5x and still no one would take the call and say follow up on the issue. Finally hung up.

Voicemail claims to be United Healthcare with important prescription refill.  I reported spam but who knows if anything gets done about this.

If you are a United Healthcare member, you can go to the website and "turn off" notifications.  If you are not a member, it may be "wrong number" in the system. While it's possible that the number is being spoofed for nefarious reasons, call back to this number does get United Healthcare.  However, if you call from a number that was not called by them, you will not get to the message.  One thing you can do to determine if this was UHC, is call the number on your card and ask if there is a message regarding your prescriptions.  My call was about a change in price because the medication I was taking was no longer in the formulary.  Interestingly, I didn't realize I had left the "receive updates by text or call" box checked.  Anyway, in my case this was a call from UHC but who knows, maybe some calls are scammers spoofing the number.

Rec'd call from 952-213-6095 (yesterday, a holiday). I never answer so the message was something about prescriptions. Call back at 877-515-0872. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

BTW, the real UnitedHealthCare's response was to call the number and see what they wand (besides my birth date.)

Received call on memorial Day to verify dob from 952-213-6095 voice message has 877-515-0872 as well.  Uhc does not care so don't call either number with info, scam to steal your info
