- Solice| 1 reply3 calls today and 4 yesterday. They refuse to leave a message, and I hear no one when I pick up. Who is it?
- Art3 to 4 calls a day for two weeks. Does not answer when picked up. Does not leave message.
- RDI called this number back. It is Barclays Bank. They told me they were calling to sell me an account protection for my credit card.
- Caller: Barclays Bank
- Call type: Telemarketer
- lexie| 1 replyi just called them back, they asked me to punch in my social security number. SCARY
- Robert M LancasterHello
Received two calls from 877 523 0478. When I pick up and say hello no one answers buy the line is open and "office noise is in background" ???
RM Lancaster - Monica| 1 replyThey finally answered. The woman said her name was Tanya and she was calling on behalf of Barkley's Bank about a credit card that had been with Juniper Bank. She wanted to sell me account protection servcie. I told her NO. She apologized but kept on talking about why Barkley's could call me. I told her to take me off the list.
- Caller: Barkley's Bank
- Call type: Telemarketer
- (Withheld)First call today...early in a.m. No one on other end. This could get aggravating from what I read on other postings. The "do not call" list isn't working well, is it.
- K.H.| 1 replyI just called Barclays Bank and told them that I have been annoyed by the 5+ phone calls per day. She said that they are trying to sell account protection (as listed above)in case I get ill or disabled. I told her I was not interested and that I had never been interested in this. She apologized and put my name on a no solicitation listing. She said it could take up to 30 days though. I don't know why the Do Not Call List covers this???
- *I think they can contact you because a company that you currently do business with asked them to. I think there's the loophole in the "do not call". I was wondering whose number this is, but now I realize it's probably Juniper. I have an account with them. :)
- Susanwe got calls a couple of time a day from this number for a while. They didn't leave message. when I anwser the phone , there was no one on other end.
- dennybran no one there
- Call type: Telemarketer
- pattyinNCThis number has shown up randomly on my caller id for the past 3-4 weeks. I decided to find out "who" this is and turns out I can't get a "live" person but only a recording when I call the number and "it" wants to have a social security number and zip code entered. I don't provide this information! "it" associates itself with Barclays. So, I tracked down how to contact Barclays and the long and short of this is that Barclays knows about this number and says it's fraudulent.
- Caller: Barclays
- kyminmodestoThe phone rings, I answer and there's nobody there. This number calls me minimally 1-2x a day and sometime more like 4-5x a day. How can I contact them??? When I call the number, there's a fax like sound. Urrrr, please stop calling me! - Frustrated is not the word!
- Stevethey left a message to return the call to 877-523-0478. I returned call and was immediately asked for my SS# and zip. I googled the number and went to: www.juniper.com/app/ccsite/help/helpfaqDynamic.jsp which appears to be USAir Master Card (which I have)...so it's probably a marketer but I whish the message would have said USAIR M/C and not Barkley's Bank. Don't need whatever they're offering if they can't leave a good message.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- pete replies to K.H.if a company has a business relationship with you, forget all about Do No Call list, they can call.
- Jelly replies to SoliceThe calls come from Barclays Bank. You can request them to cease and desist by calling one of these two numbers:
(888) 232-0780
(866) 443-7083
If calling the number on back of credit card, those personnel cannot effect change. The above numbers will respond to your request. They are Barclay numbers as well.
I made my complaint today and feel that the problem will be resolved. - John in FloridaIt seems they're up to it again. I received a call from "John" of Barkley's (sp?) Bank regarding "your request to AirTran" and to call them back (I erased the number, but it started 866- ). I recently flew round-trip within the US on AirTran but all payments were made up front and I have no outstanding fees. I tried #69 and it said it was a "private" number. I have excellent credit and haven't missed any payments, so I don't think it is a collector. I did NOT call them back.
Who is this and how could they've gotten my number? This is getting too far out of hand.- Caller: Barkley's (Barclay's?) Bank

- Cissy replies to lexieThat’s a big 🚩 FLAG! Asking for your SS#. No doubt it’s not legit.
