just called this morning, and the caller answered questions with a "slow mode", and sound rude tho. and said on behalf of CIBC and want to do a survey about a business account. Didn't transfer the call to my boss, it seems like a scam to me.

The caller said they were from CIBC yada yada wanting to do a survey and I said sorry I'm not talking to you........click

I see several reports of CIBC soliciting to participate in a survey. Nowadays, as a matter of course I no longer participate due to the overwhelming amount of scammers ... Sorry, CIBC even if caller was legitimate, I will not do it.

They phoned and I answered all the questions didn’t give no personal stuff is that bad ? Just yes or no and 0-10 number raitings

Definite phishing scam! Ignored calls from this number for several weeks. Answered it once and heard 10 seconds of silence. Got a random text on a Thursday and mistakenly clicked on a link (which I never do) which led to legit CIBC website which I then logged into. No unusual activity in my accounts. On Sunday morning my cell phone no longer works (porting out scam) and $2840 was eTranferred out of my CIBC account. They also were able to change my online banking password because they had my cell number!

Called saying they were doing a Survey for Cibc. They couldn’t give me their business name and I know Cibc conducts surveys through jd powers for recent experience. I told them this and said I did not want to

Calls everyday and never leaves a message - so I’ll never answer!! Hahaha

Contacted me. Never picked up because I didn't recognized the number. Check 800notes.com & confirmed my suspicions that it's likely a scam.

I got a call from this number. Heavy Indian accent. Wondering how he knew my name???!!! Telling me about a CIBC survey of some kind. I said I have no time and now searched the number and came across this website. I am glad I didn’t waste my time but worried how they knew my name and last name.

Information sharing is a very useful marketing tool that almost everyone does these days when you "sign up" for anything, including  Banks, shopping stores,  online web sites, etc. People overlook the  "Agreement" and just put a check mark in the box, not reading the part where the Privacy Policy is generally hidden and thats how you "gave them permission" to share your personal information with all their affiliate marketing partners. Scammers are among those "affiliates" and use this as a method to gather info to scam with.

They can also find information by trolling social media sites and gather enough to profile someone's family, work, religious beliefs and other interests. They don't call it the "information super highway" for nothing!

Person left a voice mail and started a conversation with a coworker. Very unprofessional talking about a survey to his colleagues and not me which is not a professional way to leave someone a voice mail. If you can't do your job properly then you shouldn't be working for the company.

I answered the call and it was a recording that said if I didn't call the number back my power would be shut off.

They say they’re calling on behalf of CIBC but he wouldn’t tell me why he was calling unless I verified my info starting with my credit card number lol no

CIBC, so they say. I do not discuss my banking information over the phone with ANYONE, I don’t care who they say they are.

They called me a month ago 8.10PM. I ignored the call. they did not leave a message. they called again today 7.06PM. They said that this is CIBC BANK. (But BANK work Thursday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm). they want to ask me some questions about transaction. I replied, "I'm a little busy now. I will come to the bank in the morning and will talk face to face." they replied "ok. we will call you tomorrow." what's the point of calling me tomorrow if i go to the bank? I think this is a scam. because a couple of hours I gave a paid ad on the Internet LesPac. it could be a leak of my information - a name. last name from the internet.
