877-537-5277 is CARS (Charitable Adult Rides and Services) and they handle vehicle donations for over 2,500 non-profit organizations. I submitted an online form to donate a car to my local PBS station in Tucson, and CARS called me from the 877-537-5277 number to handle the donation. So, this is a perfectly legitimate number for a worthy cause.

I received the same call and since I didn't answer, later there was a voice message on my phone.  I am happy that they left a message, because I called a charity to donate my car to them.  After explaining who they were,they left a differen number to reach them. Perfectly legitimate call.
