I NEED HELP, this company sent me a letter over a month ago telling me that we were going to get sued for something my husband charged up on a bank credit card and he is on disability and has been for 5 years thats why we stopped paying alot of our bills and since im the only one working and we live in a community property state that they can go after my income so they offered a settlement for almost half the money. Well i didnt respond to the letter because i didnt know what to do and yesterday morning a process server shows up at my place of business and served me papers now we are being sued for the full balance so i tryed calling them to pay the settlement they offered because i borrowed money from my 401k and now they are telling me its to late because i only had 30 days from when the letter was dated.I spoke to an attorney and he basically said that he wants $2000 to retain him but the bill is only $1800 so i didnt want to waste money on an attorney that cost more then what i owe then me having to pay them anyways. I dont know what to do please help

I just had the same thing happen to me .. except I didn't get served  the gentlemen that I dealt with was very professional and helpful he gave me all the info that I needed to know and was kind enough to help me resolve my issue.  at first I thought that he was a collector but believe me he was far from it he was kind and very informative about my problem, he gave my options and allowed me to make the right decision with out pressuring me in any way.  My Advise to you is to allow them to help you ... your better off that way.

yea these people are rip offs,they are sueing me for $3400 and i only charge $1200 on the credit card there taking me to court over,they say its from late fees and interest but i still dont get why it got so high.these guys must be high

I'm on the phone with them right now, and this "agent" or whatever he is, is screaming at me that he doesn't care if we get this resolved or not because its not his money and that I'm just going to have to deal with the fact that they are going to sue me and garnish my wages for 45% of my income.  What a freakin great company.

This company is bullcrap, they do not care about us or try to work with us all they wanna do is sue us! Me and my wife got sued on a line of credit we had 3 years ago and now they are suing us for almost double the loan we had because of court cost and attorney fees and late fees and interest!

i recieved letter over a month ago about this complaint and they refused to work with me as far as payments and thats all i can afford and now they are trying to levy my wifes paycheck to get the money.i dont understand how they are able to do this???
