They called asking for info on our nonprofit for an annual report and claimed to be from bank of a. Sounded fishy and they kept calling leaving messages saying it was an urgent matter.   Called bank of a and confirmed it was a scam.

I get a call from them every year asking me the exact same questions. The first time I received the call in 2015, I didn't answer thinking it's a spam call. And BofA ended up closing all my accounts :D This is a legit BofA compliance department number, so if you are a treasurer or something else on the board of an org with a BofA account, take the call and just let them know the details of the organization. They DID NOT ask me for any personal details other than my position within the organization

I just received a call from the same number. She said her name is Rene calling about an urgent matter regarding the account for Masters Baptist Church, Inc. in Arizona. I'm not in Arizona. I don't bank with BoA and I looked up the church. It's in Washington! Total SCAM. She had NO information correct. I let it go to voice mail since I didn't recognize the number.

On the above post from me the phone number that called is 877-551-0214. Not 0215.

This is a spoofed number, I've called it while on speaker and I can hear a clicking in the back ground, that means its a fake number. I've reported a scam to my local police department and was told if I could hear clicking on the phone hangup it's a scam. I was trying to report fraudulent checks that had been sent to me by people pretending to work for a company called Carson Dellrosa Education (this is a real company) the name these people use is Barry Hillary. Although pretending to work for one company the checks come from different companies and different banks. I contacted all the banks including B of A which I did online sending copies of the check to there security department. Now I'm getting calls from Caroline at B of A and she states she works in there security department. This is a scam anyone getting calls for this phone number needs to block it out right away and report it.
