I called back and they said the name of their company is Travel Services.

Not sure if it is legitimate or not.  Decided not to take the offer.

They use  illegal robo dialers and try to trick you promising a cheap vacation all inclusive but need you to pay the taxes to receive your prize!

Please call the FTC and report these scumbags, Also contact the cruise lines they claim to be awarding prizes to and let them know of the Illegal activity being used and using their name in the scams

Great to know I can use my internet to help me out. Glad I took the time to inquire what this "too good to be true" offer was.

My mom just received a call from these people offering the same deal "free cruise just pay taxes" Thankfully she said she would call them back. When she dialed the number a recording told her the name "cruise directors" she hung up before getting an answer. She then called me and I googled the number which brought me to this website. Great to know I could rely on the web to get the truth about scammers. Thanks!

Glad I checked the web.  Usually not a good sign when they want you to pay money upfront.  No matter the amount.  Bogus!

Well I did pay the money, not just me it was at least 30 of us.  Now they won't even talk to us, every time we call that hang up the phone.  30 x 99. omg.  Please be aware of this company,  I had to get a Lawyer.

Just received a call from these scammers  who  want $196.00 up front money to reserve a trip.  I've been scammed too many times before.  Time to take off the rose colored glasses.

Got this same call today - $98 p.p.  They said I'd be paying Carnival but then went on to say that I could use it for Royal Caribbean or Norwegian.  After asking, they did explain that the port fees, transportation to the port would be extra but only after asking!  If you dig deep enough, you will figure out that these things are scams.  Whenever they want money upfront, DON'T DO IT!!!  Glad I listened to my gut!

I was on the line with an agent, sounds legitimate! Is there a way to check out the cruise line before paying money out? Has anyone been successful?

Just got a call from them. The guy I talked to named Jessey gave me his extention #557. They've called before and I hung up, but this time pressed 1, took the call and asked questions. I was pleased to hear no time share was involved, but Leary when they wanted money up front. The first time the call came in from this company it was on a restricted number. I never trust that. Since he gave me his number and extention it put me more at ease, but I wanted to do my homework. Glad this site was set up. We all need to ban together as consumers against these scammers. I'm calling to report them. Did anyone see that they also have an active website? Hard to believe people who paid cannot seek legal action when the company openly advertises.

Boy oh boy, the more I look into this company the more negative things I find. The travel company is located out of Chicago. I went to the BBB there and found 14 complaints filed! They received the lowest rating a company can get. Its interesting to know that travel services is not registered with the BBB and when they tried to investigate claims made against them the travel company never returned their call or provide background info on their company. Hmmmm... The company received an F rating. Go check it out online here:

I just got a phone call as well, however, I decided to ask if I could call them back because I wanted to discuss spending the money first with my boyfriend...since it would be both of our money not just mine. I then decided to google the number and found this blog. OMG so glad that I did not jump on it. I thought they must have gotten my number from the cruise we just went on (Norwegian) and thats how I won...nope. Glad I did not jump on their amazing taxes only offer of just $98. Thank you for who ever started up this blog page! You have helped save A LOT of people A LOT of money!

From what I have been reading this number is a scam...I wouldn't pay. I got the same call and was very intrigued. However, after researching I found that too many people have had bad experiences. I have not seen 1 person say "great deal" or anything near it. Its either someone with a horrid experience and lost money OR they were like me and just didn't try it. I wouldn't/ I didn't. And I got the call just a few hours ago...

Just gave my charge card number for this offer and while on hold, google and found these comments at the same time my heart and gut did a flip.  Now I'll be fighting with the charge card company and whoever this company claims to be.  Any help would be appreciated.  Guess I never get too old to be stupid.  Oh my husband is going to love this.
