- Caller: Nrg and associates
- Call type: Debt collector
- davidNrg collected my money for me and kept the money. I got screwed by the contractors I worked for and them. I paid them legal fees and was lied to on that also and ripped off. They are the biggest fraud out there.

- Fraudulent NRG| 13 repliesWhen he 1st called me he told me he was in a law office, then he (VICTOR) called later and told me he was with collections. He told me there would be 3 charges filed against me if I did not pay $515 from a check I wrote at a check cashing place 3 years ago. I cant remember if I paid it or not because I was in debt with so many and I thought I paid them all off. I told him I will contact my attorney and I want all the paperwork sent to me, he said he would email it to me and he did 2 hours later. With a different check cashing name that he originally told me. They are full of s***. They wont get a dime of my money. I was so scared I was really going to pay it until I seen all these comments and talked to my attorney. My attorney told me to tell them to contact him.

- Franky Wolf replies to Fraudulent NRG| 12 repliestell your attorney to call me , NRG collected over $450..000 in less then 2 months they are the best , what is wrong with you Liars
- WolfmanJack replies to Franky Wolfyeah right, you must work for these scumbag thieves. If they are doing collections for you I would be very, very scared of losing your business. You can be sued along with them when they violate the law.
- Tamianth replies to Franky Wolf| 4 repliesWhy should his attorney call you? Burden of proof is on the Debt Collector!
- robinhoodie replies to Tamianth| 3 repliesSo, I have a question for everyone here. I have seen these posts for many years and yet NRG continues to get more and more business taking more and more money so apparently nothing can be done. Apparently NRG is compliant or they would have been shut down by now.
- Resident47 replies to prodtrAh, phone thugs and their love of culture-bound aliases ... "Zack Morris" was the ever-scheming character played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar in the "Saved By the Bell" franchise.
- Resident47 replies to robinhoodieReally? You're trying the "We're Not Dead Yet" defense? Fraud shop runners like your heroes put more effort into evading oversight and punishment than they ever would if they held real jobs. Theft by deception is a quick process. Policing of the lawbreaking is slow, and usually not all-or-nothing. If you're so concerned, have your pals give me a call about a bogus debt claim next week. By the time I'm through with them in Federal court, they'll be paying my rent until 2018.

Collection Agencies - BigA replies to Yoda1725How the heck did you get a report off of the BBB? It keeps coming up 503 website unavailable for me?
- Art Farnsworth replies to Franky Wolf| 5 repliesTell them to pay me then. They collected in October and Nov. 2015 and I have not seen a dime. They avoid me.
- MJG replies to Art Farnsworth| 4 repliesNo one can help you. That money is very probably gone - especially since they have an "F" rarting with the BBB.
- Art Farnsworth replies to MJG| 3 repliesHas anyone tried anything that did work in getting Bart Johnson to pay you? He keeps telling me that check is in the mail. I have proof of the front and rear of cashed checks from my former Employer for my behalf on front lower left says in my behalf. I also have the bank statements proving that the checks were paid and cleared the bank. Any suggestions would be helpful. I do know an Attorney that would probably be willing to take a class action suite to try to get us paid. The more people the better. We may even be able to get him closed down and put in jail. Please call or e-mail me. Art Farnsworth 408-685-7085 E-Mail artfarnsworth@comcast.net
- Nicole replies to Art FarnsworthThey did the same to us. Our company hired them to collect a $100,000 claim. They agreed to a lower amount without our authority or approval. Then they proceeded to lie to us that they were waiting on the company to send the check in order for them to send us our collected money. We've hired an attorney and found out that they endorsed a check made out directly to us and deposited it into THEIR account. We've not seen a single dime. If you'd like to help us in our suit against them, contact me at fightagainstNRGscam@gmail.com
- john norman| 1 replythretened to come to my house!! wanted two form of ID. amd my signature!
- Caller: Nrg recobery
- Call type: Debt collector
- BigA replies to john normanThis is a common ploy by criminals masquerading as debt collectors who are attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this, all for an alleged or nonexistent debt. One of the tricks they use is to call your work place, friends, or relatives repeatedly in an attempt to shame you into paying. They also use the “process server” ruse who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number. Please note that process servers do not ever call ahead. That way you can’t dodge them.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
