This number calls telling you money has been added to your EPPIcard.
Eppicard is a Child Support Credit card for Child Support Services.
I spent 2 days calling every state agency in Illinois to stop these calls.
They have priests calling me to talk about children.
I don't have children and have nothing to do with Child Support.
The State Of Illinois Atty General isn't interested,nor is any other State Agency.
I don't like having my number associated with what could be fraudulent deposits.
I have a cell phone and the only way they could have gotten my number is from a craigslist ad?
Apparently scammers are collecting numbers from craigslist.
Check the path of emails if you get questions if the item is still for sale.
Then they would have your phone and email.
 I get this call every week and it costs me $2 to answer the call and the recording only allows you to talk to them and if you don't have the 16 digit card number there is no other option.
Call the Illinois Child Support service you can wait for hours with no luck as it tells you to call again when they are not busy.
.They claim money has been added to your EPPIcard and you can spend it after 9 AM
That's it.
It also says if the call is recieved in error they are sorry.=-(

But no way to stop these weekly calls that are connected to some State Debit Card deposit.

Possibly someone had the phone # prior to you having it. The #'s only stay out of cirrculation like 90 days. I do receive child support through the state of Illinois, and Eppicard is a legitimate card. The receipient sets it up to call their phone when a deposit is made to their acct. I wouldn't worry about the fact of you receiving the call, hit ignore. I know for a fact the # wasnt taken off of Craigslist. The person that Eppicard is trying to contact obviously needs to update their info.

 I get that the number is for an EPPI CSE card deposit notification system.  But what possible reason could my wife have for calling 800-567-1769 (without any incoming call or missed call history from it?). Mind you, we both live in North Carolina and are not separated, nor do we even pay child support to each other as we are married and live together with one child.  I'm bookmarking this page and I hope someone else can answer that one for me.  My wife doesn't have any other children that I am aware of either, FYI.

This number was on a so called epic card for my childsuppport saying to call this number to activate my card. This is not the number and someone else is sending payments to a fraudulent card that is suppose to be my child support card. The payments changed they are stealing the child support money

Your post is very unclear.  Where did you get this card from?  If this card had this number to activate it then why do you think that someone else is getting the payments that belong to you?  Have you contacted the appropriate government agency to sort this out?
