Called at 9:30; no message

This is Southwest Credit Collection. They have called me three times over the past 10 days but never leave a message. I work a graveyard shift so I am never awake when they call at 10 am, so I called during my shift and that's the info I obtained on their automated message. Hope this helps anyone else out there.

An underappreciated provision of the FDCPA may help if SWCC thinks you owe something. You can give notice that certain hours are inconvenient for contact. If your only convenient hours are, let's say, 01:00 to 05:30 on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, any call outside that range violates the Act. Too bad for them if that doesn't fall within the SWCC office hours. Really too bad if they fail to adjust their autodialer, handing you the ammo you need to hose them in court.

Should the calls be skiptracing for a stranger, it's safe to cut off all contact via a "cease-communication" letter. Certified Mail is best for either notice.

Junk Call

calls every day

Called wanting all demographics including social but not telling me what it was about. So I said unless you can tell me what this is in regards to you are not getting my social. I said bye.

These people cannot be too bright phoning everyone every day and getting no where. Another call yet again today and as usual ignored.

Called me, denied the call, called back and found out it was some debt collector. It did not say which debt collector. Unsure of what they were calling me about.

This caller has been calling daily but won't speak when I answer. The last time I said, talk to me or I will block you. They hung up, and so I blocked the number. Why do people waste their time (and mine) if they don't want to talk to me? Ridiculous.

wouldnt state purpose of call it was for...only it was for my mother who is in a nursing home and wont be returning home due to condition and of her own will to be where she is , they said they would call back over n over as i explained she will never be here again like they cant comprehend. no doubt im sure to be called n called by these people who aren't really listening                      others say this is a debt/phony debt collector for southwest credit collection/ SWCC

Do not know who this is

I receive 5-6 calls from this number 877.575.9464 daily on my new cell and number.  They do not leave a message.  I'm have reported them as spam, but still get calls.  Now they have one of my other numbers, why can't they be shut down?

they said they were from Verizion and asked for wrong name on the account

I have received  10 call from this number they leave message but when you go to the message there is nothing there.  So I have saved all of their message I wish they would stop call. I don't own anybody any money.

These dumb ass people call everyday and when i call back it goes . Directly to " would you like to pay with debt, credit card? Don't even know who they are? Man i was hoping the would answer the phone i really wanted to mess with their heads...Oh well maybe tomorrow, i get a call everyday at about 10am mountain standard time.

If you take the time to read the other posts, you will see that someone has identified who they are and Resident47 has given excellent advice on how to deal with them.

These so called debt collectors call everyday with no voice message. I don't have any debt though.

This number calls frequently. I say hello with the name of my business. Immediate hangup.

I keep receiving calls on my Skype and I am out of the country. They do not leave message and I do not know who it is. Please have them stop!
