I also got a check against my acct for $26.77.  company is Business Inteliigence Inc.     not familiar with them.  I filed claim with my bank.  check dated 6/7/21 and it hit my acct 6/9/21, but I just noticed it last night and filed claim today.

Company drafted fraudulent check which cleared bank.  Best part is it was "charged to" my wife who has been deceased for over 31 months and isn't even on this account.  Bank is reversing charge and investigating. Also notified Chicago FBI.

Same thing...charged $30.59 from this same number and name (Business Intelligence Inc.)  Fraudulent....have to close my account now. Called the number on the check and got a response after listening to music for 30 min. Woman said it was for an online Web subscription. Did not have information on what web subscription service it came from. Business Intelligence Inc is the company that collects the money for the service, but she does not know who the "service" is.  She recommended I close my account with my bank as clearly someone has my bank information. They do not know who is on the other end. BII is a middle service.

Same issue for me. A check for Business Intelligence Inc hit my checking account for $30.59.  My bank is investigating and putting a fraud hold on my account. I also need to close my account...frustrating....

No call, but same story as everybody else. Hit my checking account for $27.19, dated 6/14. I definitely did not subscribe to anything as I use my credit card, not my checking account for recurring payments.

Check hit my account June 23rd for $33.89 with Business Intelligence Inc, don’t know what its from. Sound like a scam to me after all these replies

Same issue here. Check dated 6/14 to Business Intelligence Inc. Processed on 6/18 through my bank. Called the number on the check. Was finally connected to a person named "Kathy", who indicated she was with Billing Solutions Limited that processed website subscriptions. She further reported a person provided my account number and routing number of my checking account. I reported this was not the case, at which point she claimed to cancel the charge and delete my info from their system. She gave me a reference number and told me to not file a claim with the bank as I would get a "Double Refund", which is illegal.
I immediately contacted my bank, reported the fraud charge, and have since closed the compromised account and opened a new one.

Just saw a check cleared my account for $28.78 with this number on it.  I always balance my check book and noticed it.  By chance what bank do you use.  Truist in mine.  Wondering if bank hack or what?

This is fraud and the FBI should get involved in this.  I do not recommend calling the number printed on the check or giving out additional information over the phone.  Call your financial institution immediately and report this.  Close your account immediately!
Just out of curiosity, did any of you use Turbo Tax e-file?  I suspect those compromised account numbers could have been given to Turbo Tax or similar online vendors for payment then got hacked through those companies.

You state " the FBI should get involved in this" so I'm guessing that means you've reported it to them, right? What did they say?

I had this same situation; check from Business Intell Inc taken from my account.  I called the number and waited for about 15 minutes.  Finally a lady answers, whos eating food and I can hear kids in the background.  She assured me they would refund the money and told me (3 times) not to notify my bank because that would be a double refund, which is illegal.  I have talked to my bank and they said to close the account and reopen.  This is clearly a scam and I hope some legal authority is looking into this.

found a fraudulent check for 32.32 on a routine check of my account.  Have only use account for payment of FPL most recently, wonder if they've had a data breach. Has this number on fake check

Did you report the fake check to your financial institution & have them close your account? If not, do so immediately or this could happen again.

6/23 no phone call; number is on Fraudulent withdrawal check  on my credit union bank account from Business Intelligence for 31.94.  Put on hold, never answered. I reported to bank but I probably will have to close account.  I am in So Florida

I reported this to Chase as the same thing happened, a printed check with my details of acct & routing # . CLOSED the account and reopened a new account with Chase within the hour.

A fraudulent check was made from my checking account for $27.46. I called the Business Intelligence number listed on the check and like everyone else was placed on a continuous hold. I called my bank and made a claim. They will be investigating….

I called the 877 number. The lady I spoke to said she was located in New Zealand. Routing number is for PNC bank.
