it is harrasment. I just got a cell phone and have not given it out to anyone. They are calling me ten times a day even tho i politly ask them not to. I have even called the company that I so call owe, and they wont respond. I have not given out any info about myself but yet still get this harrasment. So styop being so judge mental about some being a cry baby. maybe you shouldve learned how to be nice when you were in kindergarden. YOU FAILED MORON. You want to be so nasty to people thyat may or may not owe sometyhing but yet your manners are wrong. Go back to kndergarden and learn how to be nice. if you dont care whyt did you comment? IDIOT!~

I got a call from this company this morning.  Dont expect them to be around long.  They are blatantly violating the FDCPA.

It's clear they got my number from telephone records as I just got this telephone number 2 months ago and have given it to no one.  I have my number list as C Bennit in the telephone listing.  It's clear they are calling anyone with a similar name in the phonebook

I am getting calls from "Kelly Smith" as well. I am current on all my debt. The one time I waited the 10 minutes on hold for a live person, they refused to talk to me unless I provided my social, but refused to give me any information, including the company name, unless I gave them my social. They call me from 3a.m. until 11a.m. everyday.

any idea on how to get them to stop, or what company the represent? I told the last rep they needed to remove me from their list, and she said they didn't have to and hung up.

Simply, these debt collectors appear to be hopelessly stupid.
    I am receiving the phone calls from "Kelly Smith, the debt collector" almost daily; for many months now. I have tried communicate with Kelly Smith, but it appears to be impossible. Kelly Smith just  keeps calling and looking for some guy, who apparently had mine phone number three or more years ago. Of course, people from Kelly Smith  don't care that they harass me and not that guy; they believe that they can get away with it, and I would not expect anything different from people like these either. Well... what is funny is the fact that they are also too dumb to comprehend -  the intended object of their calls is not getting reached, he is getting away and apparently is laughing at them. It means that their naive clients are paying Kelly Smith for the job that is not getting done and will never get done, at least not  in the way like this. I'm certain that Kelly Smith's people don't care about their clients (companies) either... Still, what if these clients would start realizing the quality of services they are paying for. Kelly Smith would be out of business in no time...
   There are treatments for most of diseases, but not for such an extensive stupidity.

I received a call from this number and the lady I spoke with asked em to verify the last 4 digits of my social and I asked her who the hell was she and if she had all my information why should I verify anything over the phone.. She told me to have a great day and hung up on me

Kelly Smith. Get a new line of work. In my experience bill collectors are thieves who never actually credit the money paid to them. Pay the original company or keep your money. Kelly Smith I will pray for you!

My good friend who is sick of the calls, if you or someone you know is a tech nerd, as I am, you may wish to get ahold of an old used, PC, wipe windows off of it, then download some free software from asterisk, google that one, I dare you. When you have a PBX installed, it does not break the bank, even I cood afford it. A little OBI box, or other open phone ATA adapter, an old PC and some free pbx software will make all the diff in the world. Play a recording at them down analogue line, or simply disconnect their sorry butts with a SIP (hangupcause 1), and the spammer's computer will think your line is no longer in service, ditch the fake bill collectors, old girlfrends, and telespammers without spending alot of dough. if you know of a cheaper way to go about it, go for it, and control your phone again.

Debt Collectors like Kelly Smith don't stop calling when you tell them they are calling the wrong person. Its because the "know" you are lying to them and you really are that person. What a line of work to be in . . .

My mother is 87 years old and you call her phone 10 15 times a day for some one who don't live here she don't understand what you are telling her to do by pushing this button or that button she is blind and has to get up every time you call to answer the phone only to be for someone who don't even talk to her STOP CALLiNG HER

It is a scam.  I got the same thing and then started facebooking me.  It is a scam.

What if I keep getting an automated call that says if you are not so and so, press 4... and when I do the message loops again and then I press 4 again, and the call disconnects.  I've been getting messsges and calls fir years for an ex who moved out in 2011.

Try pounding out (0 + #), and see if this will connect you to a human. When you do, inform them the person they are after is no longer at your number, you do not know his location and to cease calling.
