This number belongs to an organization by the name The Takhar Group. This group supposedly is a collection agency. When you call them back, that is when they gather their data about you. You are told you have a legitimate debt, however, they refuse to send you any verification. If you are able to get any information regarding the original debtor and are able to straighten things out with the so called debtor, The Takhar Group will tell you they see you do not owe any money to the creditor but you still owe them the money. Do not take their calls or return them and give any personal information.

The Attorney General's Office for the State of New Jersey and FBI are including this group in an ongoing cyberscam/fraud investigation.

and no voicemail i don't accept numbers  i do not know
and needs to send me a voicemail. Some try to use
ur own area code but no voicemail but I know some are fraud scammers.
I ran onto this and sure enough they are fraud scammers.

I get repeated calls from this number, but I don't answer numbers I am not familiar with.

I received a call at my place of business from this number 877-635-1627 as I saw it on my caller ID.  They left a message saying that it was not a marketing or solicitation call, but regarding a personal matter then went on to say to call them back at 877-479-3878.  They didn't go into detail if it was to collect a debt or what it was about.  Anyway, I searched both these numbers and apparently the number that was on my caller ID was from a company called The Takhar Group but the other number that they wanted me to call back was Vision Financial Services.  If they want me to call them back they really need to give me a detailed message as to what this is about.  I don't want to call them back and find out this is a scam.

I got a call this morning at10;51 on 9/17. I did not answer. There was no message left.Nor did I call back..
The number was877-635-1627. Listed as a 800-service number. The key is to know who you owe to and don't give out your info on the phone to anyone.Isn't There a old saying every dog has there day.

Called and asked for Mark.  When I said there was no such person at my number and to take the number off her list, she said "we don't have a list" and hung up.

I just read my previous post - just to clarify, THEY called me and asked for Mark.  There is no such person here....

Mark is probably took out a loan he didn't plan to pay and gave a fake phone number.  If they call again tell them "Mark does not live here.  You have GOT to stop calling."  Emphasize the word "got".  Thats how I got rid of the auto loan company looking for Michael the Deadbeat.

I just received a call tonight @ 8:41, when I answered the phone and said "Hello" there was complete silence. I repeated the hello 2 more times. Finally some weird music came over the phone, then a woman asked for my husband, I knew it was a debt collector, I told her he was not in. She asked for a phone number where he could be reached. I told her NOPE, don't have one. I said you may leave a message, she hung up on me....Then I *67 the phone and called the # 877-635-1627 back. A man answered, he said is this .........(my hubby's name) I said no. I asked him what company this was he said it was Vision Financial. I said ok. He then proceeded to grill me. I just hung up on him.

There isn't a reason in the world to ever call this number back, so don't.

I keep recieving calls like every 45 minutes. Rings 2 -3 times then they hang up, Almost like it is computerized or something..  Can't be a debt collector as I don't owe anybody any money!!

I just received a call from the same telephone for the first time ever. I did not answer the call but they did not leave a message. I live in Virginia.

They are fraud company, my attorney told me. So DONT CALL THEM BACK... or give them any information on yourself.
