- ECons| 2 repliesThis is a company called HRP Staffing who claims to be located in NH, a Chelsea Cader contacted me to "offer me a job". After one wasted hour listening a very bad speaker he said that we would be consultants not employees therefore we were to pay almost $200 to start training tomorrow. they used a teleconference system called Webinar. Beware. This people have the words Thief stamped all over.

- jihoon4ever@gmail.com replies to ECons| 1 replyHi, I also receive exactly the same email like you, I've no idea Is it spam or not? because I searched on HRP staff in NH, look like it's something wrong??? Would you like to tell me is it spam email right?
- America Land of Scams| 1 replyI sat through the entire Web Conference. Finally they want 25 people to sign up for training at $199!! If they do this twice a day 5 days a week- they pull in $50,000!!! Sounds pretty lucrative to me! Too bad they are also preying on the poor unemployed! They should be ashamed!! And REAL company pays you for training! Or at least FREE training.
Sorry Kids, You didn't need to eat this week!- Caller: HRP Staffing
- C K Knows replies to America Land of ScamsI'm scheduled for the same meeting @ 1 pm today. Thanks to the comments, I may not be attending. Do not need to waist an hour on a call when I can use that hour searching for a job

- Tried of Fake Job Scammers| 3 repliesThis company is a total scam. They are preying on the long-term unemployed scamming them out of money, giving false hope of actually getting a "valid" job. As other posters has stated, you'll go through a long presentation then they will hit you up for money. Folks, what legitimate employer makes you pay them up front for a job? The answer is NO legitimate employer asks prospective employees for money!!! It's all a scam!
Here's the e-mail message I recieved from them:

- G-manI just received the same e-mail (see below) as "Tried of Fake Job Scammers", except that it came from Joy Stevenson. Upon reading it, I was stunned that a company VP had the time to personally review resumes and happended to select mine. He/she must have more time to do grunt work than any VP I've ever known. I soon concluded that it's yet another of many job scams that prey upon laid-off, hard-working job seekers. Thank you, fellow job seekers, for helping to validate my conclusion. E-mail text as follows:

- Pats replies to Tried of Fake Job ScammersReceived the exact same e-mail this morning. Google showed others asking the same question. The poorly written message was the first hint. I forwarded the message to spam@uce.gov. Maybe if they get enough of them, they'll be put on the radar.

- Report them to Attorney General Offices| 1 replyWish I had found this information earlier. Received the email from Jason...googled him on LinkedIn and appears he could have been legit. Went through the Webinar and yes, felt Scott was somewhat unprofessional, signed up because many of the statistics they were providing about the healthcare industry are valid and I'm interested in transferring my skills and experience to recruiting/HR roles.
Then the red flags really started showing up. They called to say that my email address was invalid (which they already had from sending me the invite) and they needed to correct it to send the portal registration and password info to. After attempting to get through on their 800 number which refers you to various first names and extension numbers all of which were very generic names (not a very diverse organization), left 2 messages which were not returned. Then I emailed both their info email and their HR support email..still no response. Then I called back again this morning and advised if I didn't hear from someone within 30mins I would be calling Amex to advise they were a scam. Of course, I started getting phone calls at that point from a very enthusiastic Joy who then passed me on to 'Mike" the trainer..who by the way says he started the company 9 yrs ago (and Scott on the webinar says they been in business for 15 years). I advised him the street address I found on a HRP Staffing page on Facebook came up on Google Maps as a very industrial location with office space for lease. I also found them on Ripoff Report Directory. He became defensive and said he had reported Ripoff Report Directory to the Attorney Generals office. Then he told me he didn't want to waste his time training me. I advised him I had already contacted American Express to dispute the charge for $199. He then hung up...very unprofessional and confirmation for me that are a scam.- Caller: HRP Staffing

I asked for Amy and he kept saying "Who? Who" with some weird accent, so I apologized, double checked the number, and decided to google it. THANK GOODNESS I DID!!! It is terrible what these freaks do to the unemployed. I hope they get what they deserve, a nice kick in the pants!
