Received 13 calls from this number within a two-hour period. Never picked up. Whois search shows the number is registered to a cable company in Madison, ME. BeeLine Cable is the company. Don't know why I'm receiving these calls, I live in the Southwest, and have never been to Maine, although I hear it's really nice this time of year. Maybe they have my number confused with a subscriber who owes them money, or maybe in addition to cable services, they are also involved in debt collection(?)

This caller left a message saying there was a copyright infringement on one of our computers.  Tried to recall but never got anything but elevator music.

So I am not the only one getting this message. We just got high speed internet installed like a week ago. Right after we get it hooked in this number calls about 3x a week. Even if you pick up when they call, you just hear a recording and Broadband Support Line. Waited like an hour to see who the hell this was and they never even answered. That being said, our internet has been throttled from 12 Mbps to basically 28 Kbps download speeds. Can't get ahold of anyone to fix the problem or even how to go about finding out what the problem is.

This is Baja Broadband contacting their customers who they have received complaints about for downloading/sharing copyrighted files. Received a call due to someone in household downloading television shows and sharing them via torrents. Was advised to delete the files as well as the torrent application. Also advised that further instances of illegal downloading/sharing would result in the termination of services.

This is a back-end service provider for local ISPs that seems to run coyright enforcement for them:

SCAM call, their Voice Mail listed an old Internet Provider and that I have a CopyRight Infringement on my computer. They then listed a trouble ticket number. SCAM SCAM.

SCAM: Same caller, left a message claiming to be calling on behalf of my ISP (not sure how they got that info), asking to call back 877-649-5723, also provided a ticket number to reference. They stated they received a notification of Copyright Infringement from one of my computers in my household network and they would help resolve the matter.
I instead called my ISP and confirmed that they do not have any reports of any infringement, and if anything they would be the ones contacting me and not a third party on behalf of them. They told me to disregard this as a SCAM.
