No message left.

Called once studdered and stamered and asked for my father and said they were from verizon wireless?

Have called several times in past week. Caller ID says Not Provided & shows the number. The caller doesn't leave a message.

... It's Verizon Wireless calling their customers with deals and incentives to renew our contracts.  I told them, keep it up and I won't!  I've been a subscriber since '97 and have been very happy, but this is BS!

Block the number for free for VZW customers!  This does work.

These settings are found at My Verizon > Verizon Safeguards > Spam Controls > Call & Message Blocking

Options available:

   * Block all calls & messages originated from specific numbers.
   * Block up to 5 specific numbers.

Similar type of phone number used to call an unlisted home phone number when residents are online or checking e-mail.

I called the number back. It's definitely from Verizon wireless trying to give you some special offer for really great deals on phones. I told them they've been calling me every day and never a message, and that I would like them to please stop. She apologized & says she'll put me on a Do Not Call list but it will take ~30 days to go into effect. This is really annoying & they should really stop since it's almost like getting harassed every day by them.

They don't leave a message, and I'm not answering it -- they always call when I am in a meeting !

They have called every day for the past week, sometimes twice in one day. I never answer it and they never leave a message. Verizon Wireless telemarketers?! They keep this up and I'm going to switch providers!!

Calls cell phone constantly & never leaves a msg.  I am a Verizon Wireless customer, but my contract doesn't expire for another couple of months.  I have never had any problems or complaints with their service, but the constant calls coming in on my cell phone while at work are getting me to reconsider whether a phone contract for another 2 years with Verizon is worth it...

hangs up when hears my voice

They kept calling so I finally answered to get them to finally stop. The fast-talking woman was trying to get me to upgrade my phones and service. I firmly said No Thanks to any new phones. Then she said they'd give me "500 over limit minutes"  free, and just a moment while she sets it up. I told her I'm driving and couldn't give her my full attention and write down what she was offering, and to please send me the details via e-mail or mail. She said no, it was a promotion only available NOW. I declined the "offer". Couldn't they just give me the minutes if they were really free??

Called my cell phone, left no message

I got the same call with the same offer, and the caller was someone whose talents were definitely not well suited to telemarketing. She read me terms and conditions and said there would be an early termination fee. I said no, all our lines are almost off the 2 years because I wanted to let them get that way, and I had to insist she undo whatever change she was trying to make. She quickly said "thank you and you have nice day" and hung up before I could get her to confirm she undid whatever it was with the overage minutes, etc. GAH!

My telephone number is on a "do not call" list, yet they call anyway.

Verizon Wireless trying to get me to re-up on plans where the contract is expiring soon.

I've been receiving calls from this number 877-657-2730 at the following dates/times:
