Received a call from this number and they left a message saying that it was AT&T/Directv and I qualify for 50% off my current monthly price.  Interesting that this number doesnt google to Directv.  Assuming it is a scam, but not sure.  I do have Directv, but they have NEVER called me to offer a discount.

I also received the same call and voicemail from this number on 9/20/2021. Voicemail sound sketchy.

I also received the same call saying I qualified for 50% off my DirectTV account.  I don't have Direct TV and never have.  It must be a scam.

This is the call back number left on a voice mail from phone number 888-656-4692.  Claiming to be DirecTV offering 50% discount.  We have received a number of these types of calls from different numbers with almost identical scripts.  A couple of different voices being used.

Received a 27 second robocall voicemail whose voice sounds like the Swedish Eagle DJ from incoming number 844-210-5671.  "Hi there I'm calling you from AT&T Direct TV to let you know that your existing account is qualified for 50% off.  In order to receive the discount kindly call us back at 877-670-7721 from 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Standard Time.  Thank you and have a great day." Reported and blocked from phone.

I called them back.  Had a directv (like) answer system, music and long wait time - very much like directv.  Wanted to know my phone or account number and how much I pay...then told me I qualify for 3 years at half price and $83.33/mo for 3 year, with free HBO/Showtime etc...  Here's the kicker, I have to pay 6 months in advance and give them my credit card number.  After second time of saying 'no,' won't do that - they cut the call.  definitely a scam!

SCAM - Claiming to be ATT regarding a 50% discount on my existing account. I do not/have not had an ATT account. Caller id #877-680-2777 instruction was to call back number 877-670-7721.

I also received a voicemail. This month on the 23rd. Definitely don’t sound like an at&t rep.

I received a call this morning 9/27/21 from 877-670-7721 for Directv 50% discount. It had a ATT/Directv automated answer with what sounded like an actual ATT answering service.  I pressed the prompt for promotions.  A man answered and asked for my phone number then how much I pay each month.  After that, he hung up. Has to be a SCAM - Beware

This was the call back number in a partial voice mail which came from a Toll Free 866-671-9629.  Voicemail voice was really sketchy sounding.  I'm presuming that if I had heard all the voice mail it would have been what has already been posted here.

I got the same voicemail saying that my ATT DIRECT TV account was eligible for a 50% discount. I presently do not have Direct TV or anything from AT&T. I used to have Direct TV many years ago, so at first, I thought they were talking about a 50% discount to come back to Direct TV. Upon listening to the voicemail again, I realized that was not what was actually said. I also saw that the phone number that they called from was not the phone number that the voicemail said to call back. Definitely a scam!!
